Please explain your revert on List of famous tall women

Thanks for responding. (You forgot to sign!) I have 3 questions:

1. I should put the {{helpme}} tag at the bottom of my talkpage, then?
2. Is it kosher to delete discussions on one's own talk page, or is it required to archive?
3. Should I be responding to you on YOUR talk page, or mine -- with these help requests?
4. I tried to join a WikiProject, but it didn't recognize me as logged in anymore. And it couldn't find my username when I tried to login. Does WikiMeta (or WikiMedia or whatever it's called) have a different membership than Wikipedia? If so, why? I don't have the same history or userpage or anything over there. But isn't the point of WikiProjects that they concern Wikipedia entries? I wonder what the point of joining a WikiProject is if you're a totally different user over there as over here...?

Yeah, I realized my error a bit to slowely. You were fast to catch it. Sorry for the delay by the way, I had just signed on to the channel and no one had handled you.

1. Yes, under a new heading, usually == Help Me: [Topic that help is needed on]== {{helpme}}
2. Generally it is frowned upon. I'm not sure if it's required to archive, but I would. As you can see, I've made several mistakes that I would much rather have off my talk page. But I believe it would show bad character to take them off.
3. Probably on your own talk page, but lets not take it there for this one. We already have a conversation going on over here :D.
4. Yes, all the different Wikimedia branches have different accounts. For instance, I have an account on Wikipedia, Wiktionary, and WikiNews, but not WikiQuote or any of the others. WikiProjects concern all of the Wiki pages on Wikimedia, so they are on Wikimedia.org rather than Wikipedia. That way you have all the projects for all the branches together.

When you use the popups tool to revert, be careful in cases where a vandal has made consecutive edits... you need to fully revert all of the vandal's edits (back to the previous user), not just one edit. -- Curps 06:17, 2 April 2006 (UTC)

Hello. The IP address of my school has recently been blocked for blanking a page on Glaciers. The block was justified. However, I was aware of the vandalism, and I had explained to the perpatrator just hours ago why vandalisation is bad, and I came on to fix it to find that I was blocked. Your comments on Lou's page

I respect your opinion if you feel that we are treating him unfairly, but have you looked at the talk page archives for that article and at his contributions? The majority of what he's done has been to repeatedly insert things that are against consensus and to accuse other editors of being part of a gay cabal and/or being unwilling to actually make the article neutral. He's currently the subject of an arbitration case for disruption and unwillingness to respect consensus, among other things. After several months of this, and several months of our trying to deal with his unwillingness to substantially respond to our arguments on the talk page or otherwise make any concessions at all in his demands until he's been blocked several times for 3RR on any given "improvement" that he insists on making against consensus, I think that our response is reasonable.

I don't mean to be antagonistic (I hope that this doesn't come off that way). If you'd like to discuss this further with me, I'd be happy to do so, and if you think that there's a way that the situation can be improved, I for one would love to hear it. If you're willing to get more involved, I think that other editors of the article might also be interested to hear what you have to say on the article's talk page, even if we end up disagreeing with you.

Marijuana Wiki

Hi there,

I see that you are a pro-Cannabis Wikipedian so I hope this will be of some interest to you.

I've started a Marijuana wiki (aka The Sticky Wiki) which I think you might be interested in. I'm hoping you can help me get started with this project. Whereas lots of articles about weed get speedy-deleted on Wikipedia, they would be totally cool over at MarijuanaWiki. But really I want the site to be more of a marijuana community than merely an encyclopedia.

To give you an example, I want to have city guides about where to score, find pot-friendly cafes, marijuana events, and what represents a good price in that city. Etc. (You can check out the featured article: "Toronto" to see what I mean). I also want to have grow diaries and marijuana blogs. All in all, basically more communal than encyclopedic.

My Talk Page

I am not really sure what led you to my talk page, however I would like to know how much of mine and Anoranza's dealings have you looked up? Since the comment I made toward that user, was directed at them, I did not need to cite examples, I was not filnig a complaint. The user who I was in direct talk with knows their prior dealings with me. I have previously told them that I will cease any direct talk with them and hence why I replied with simple policy links. I hope you do not going around calling your colleages work "lame" and tell them their contributions may get them blocked again. Perhaps you would have replied with isntances of how they haven't been civil. I do not feel the need to justify myself on my talk page as the user is already aware of things they have said. If I was filing a complaint however I would. Also considering you seem to not have been aware of most of my dealings with that particular user I find it very odd you would then comment to state I am being rude. --Zer0faults 20:00, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
