Writing about yourself?[edit]

Hi. Thanks for all your contributions. I nticed that you've edited the article Johan Reinhard and added information to other articles about the work of Dr. Reinhard. If you are, in fact, Dr. Reinhard, I just want to caution you about some Wikipedia policies and guidelines concerning possible conflicts of interest. You've done nothing wrong, but I want to bring to your attention WP:AUTO and WP:COI. Check them out and continue to strive for neutral POV additions.

Welcome, and happy editing! -- Scientizzle 23:36, 11 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Trouble with refs[edit]

Hi Johan! Do you want a hand with adding that reference in Lake Titicaca? The way you've done it at the moment gives it a fixed number which will get out of synch as more refs are added. The trick is to integrate it with the text inside <ref> ... </ref> tags and let the {{reflist}} template take care of composing the list in real time. -- Timberframe (talk) 23:15, 4 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Altitude diving[edit]

A very warm welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your edit to Altitude diving. I hope I'm not being discourteous by assuming that you are Dr Johan Reinhard, but I'd like to ask if you happen to know of any published sources that would help us in citing facts such as the 1982 date of the Lago Licancabur expedition, as it was not mentioned in Dr Brush's obituary. You were able to correct it from 1988, but there are many facts that we could make verifiable by anybody if we had sources to cite. I think that you may be particularly useful in identifying further sources for the Johan Reinhard article. If you're not sure how references work on wikipedia yet, just make a note on the article talk page giving any sources you think might be helpful, and somebody will soon come along and make use of them. Feel free to drop me a line on my talk page if I can be of any help at any time. Again, Welcome! --RexxS (talk) 01:08, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
