Steve Jobs[edit]

Hi Joan1066. Hope you're enjoying this beautiful spring day (unless you're in the southern hemisphere, in which case I hope you're enjoying this beautiful autumn day). Two things about your recent edits to Steve Jobs. First, why are you removing the final 's' after the apostrophe, i.e., turning Jobs's into Jobs'? As far as I'm aware, omission of the final 's' isn't warranted by anything in the style manual, and you're not even doing it across the board, so there's no internal consistency within the article. Second, I'd like to echo the request made in the section above. Edit summaries allow us all to review changes to any article more efficiently and accurately. I undid your 's' removals, and I used an edit summary to explain why, and you've gone and removed them again without explanation. What gives? RivertorchFIREWATER 15:42, 4 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
