Joseph Coleman (April 6, 1994 – September 4, 2012[1]), better known by his stage name Lil JoJo, was an American hip hop recording artist from Chicago, Illinois. Lil JoJo embarked on his music career in 2012, with the release of his famous first single, BDK (3hunnak).

Early Life[edit]

Coleman was born in Chicago, Illinois on April 6, 1994 and grew up on the city's Southside. At age 18, Coleman was known to have ties with Chicago street gang Gangster Disciples. His first single, "BDK (3hunnak)" was a song aiming the enemy gang Black Disciples, the title is short for "Black Disciples Killer". This song among his other songs considered aiming towards fellow chicago rappers Chief Keef, Lil Durk and Lil Reese which JoJo had a feud with.

JoJo was the younger brother of Chicago rapper Swagg Dinero.


Lil Jojo[edit]

Lil Jojo was an American rapper and songwriter who gained widespread popularity after dropping a song meant for a rival gang group in Chicago.
