User talk:Jglogau
In challenging the 'neutrality' and 'factual' nature of the article entitled: US SEC Boiler Room Prosecutions the Wikipedia rules clearly state: If you add the above code to an article which seems to be biased to you, but there is no prior discussion of the bias, you need to at least leave a note on the article's talk page describing what you consider unacceptable about the article. The note should address the problem with enough specificity to allow constructive discussion towards a resolution, such as identifying specific passages, elements, or phrasings that are problematic. Therefore, kindly abide by the rules by clearly identifying specific passages, elements, or phrasings that are problematic on the Talk page or remove both 'neutral' and 'factual' POV tags. Your failure to do so will attract sanctions which may include being blocked.

This is your last and final warning. You may attract sanctions which may include being blocked from editing the next time you NPOV-push a page, as you did with this edit to US SEC Boiler Room Prosecutions.
— Chopped Lamb (talk) 23:16, 20 April 2008 (UTC)The article Ron Bongo has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.
Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for musicians, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NawlinWiki (talk) 20:48, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on Ron Bongo requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. —Caesura(t) 21:01, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
CorraTech
[edit]A proposed deletion template has been added to the article CorraTech, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of CorraTech. - Jameson L. OPENSUITE
[edit]A tag has been placed on OPENSUITE, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.
If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}}
on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Tuvok[T@lk/Improve me] 05:03, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
Spam in ServerPronto
[edit]To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting ServerPronto, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. License tagging for Image:Ed-Magedson.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Ed-Magedson.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.
For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 19:06, 23 December 2007 (UTC)
Ron Bongo
[edit]Another editor has added the {{prod}}
template to the article Ron Bongo, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}}
template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. BJBot (talk) 03:59, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from Jerry Murdock. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Strange Passerby (talk • contribs) 10:57, 30 October 2010 (UTC)
The article Jerry Murdock has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Article notability is below individual notability standard. Maintenance templates have gone unanswered for multiple months and article's author has ceased interest in article.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hasteur (talk) 16:49, 5 January 2011 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of My sandbox 2
[edit]Hello Jglogau,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged My sandbox 2 for deletion, because it seems to be a test. Did you know that the Wikipedia Sandbox is available for testing out edits? Also you have your own personal sandbox.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top. Let me know if your content gets deleted before you have a chance to move or save it. I can recover it for you.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. —Σosthenes12 Talk 16:44, 14 May 2013 (UTC)
My Sandbox, need a test page
[edit]My personal sandbox has a article in it that was moved and published. I want to work on a new test page, if I delete the existing old article text will it mess up the actual published article? That's why I created a "new" personal sandbox page, I am afraid of deleting the published article.
Hi Jglogau,
Once the content is its own article, your sandbox should have no effect on it whatsoever. If you delete the text in your sandbox nothing should happen on the actual article. If it does let me know. That would be kind of strange. Or you can put both articles in your sandbox if you wanted to. It won't effect the real articles. And I noticed that the article in question was deleted. In case you did not have a chance to recovery your content, I have it below for you. Just copy and paste the code without the nowiki tags at the beginning and ends (I would go to the edit mode to copy and paste):

File permission problem with File:The Lexington Hotel via 1930.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:The Lexington Hotel via 1930.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to [email protected], stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to [email protected].
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. [edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Ghostery, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Proprietary. Do not add "AllTheRooms" to the list of this building's tenants again. Large NYC buildings have many tenants, but the only ones we allow to be listed are companies which have articles in the encyclopedia, ,which makes them "notable" by Wikipedia standards. AllTheRooms does not have an article, therefore it is not notable, therefore it cannot be listed. You've already reverted the removal twice, which means you've taken the first steps into edit warring, please don;t take the next one. BMK (talk) 22:14, 15 June 2016 (UTC)

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/ConveyIQ until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Meeanaya (talk) 06:41, 16 October 2019 (UTC)
The article Logicworks has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Article fails to demonstrate notability under WP:NCORP.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Brandon (talk) 07:39, 2 October 2024 (UTC)
