The article you created at Jeremy annear was listed for deletion as An article about a real person that does not assert the importance or significance of its subject, criterion 7 in the criteria for speedy deletion, Articles section. Since it appears to be about you I've moved it to your user space instead, which was probably what you intended in the first place (a common mistake among newcomers!).

If you really did mean to create an article about yourself please be aware that this is often considered a bad idea, even if you do meet the guidelines for inclusion of biographies.

I know Wikipedia can be confusing for new editors, so you are welcome to ask for help at the help desk or on my talk page. Tonywalton  | Talk 12:26, 22 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I see you've also created Jeremy Annear artist.1949-, which does contain assertions of notability. In that case I'll move things around a bit so the main article is Jeremy Annear (with the correct capitalisation but without a description and date, as per usual Wikipedia standards on article titles). Note that in general writing autobiographical articles is discouraged - another editor may well decide to tag the article for deletion anyway. Done. I note what might be a typo, though - the original article title mentioned a birth date of 1949. However the article states Listed in Who’s who in British Art and The Dictionary of Artists in Britain since 1945. This shows an unusual degree of prescience on the part of that publication, with a listing from 4 years before birth. Could you fix this, please?
