I'm going to add that opinions (from pages like Yahoo) need to be substantiated from secondary or tertiary sources. Your edit was clearly made in good faith, but it wasn't suitable for the lead paragraph. Spf121188 (talk) 23:31, 15 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

A tip[edit]

Hello. When you add references, I recommend you use citer to fill in the references with a title, dates etc, instead of adding bare references. It's very easy to use, just paste the link of the reference into it and then copy the text the tool generates for you. TylerBurden (talk) 07:58, 9 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Tyler! I didn't know this existed and I have definitely been lazy Jdabank (talk) 16:49, 9 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
No problem, that thing makes life really easy when it comes to adding references. Keep up the good work. :) TylerBurden (talk) 19:10, 9 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Josh Jacobs, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Filipino. Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, you may be blocked from editing. signed, Willondon (talk) 17:53, 1 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

not trying to start an argument here - please explain why editing for clarity is disruptive. "one of the best basketball prospects in a generation" does not seem like a clear sentence to me and it seemed like it needed a tweak. Jdabank (talk) 17:59, 1 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
When you say "editing for clarity" [1], you mean changing "one of the best basketball prospects in a generation" to "one of the greatest basketball prospects ever". It may be more clear to you, but it's changing the content to say something the original source didn't say. signed, Willondon (talk) 18:12, 1 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
the closest thing that i can find in any of the links cited near that sentence - 2, 3, and 4 - is "Victor Wembanyama arrived in San Antonio as one of the most coveted draft prospects of all time. At 7-foot-4, the French phenom brings unprecedented skill for someone his size."
