Welcome[edit]

Hello, JamesHeimann, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your edits have not conformed to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and may be removed if they have not yet been. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles. As well, all new biographies of living people must contain at least one reliable source.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to the new contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!  Qwyrxian (talk) 09:09, 2 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I forgot to mention that was in reference to the interesting but unsourced fact you added to IKEA. If you have a source for that phrase, please provide it and we can re-add the info. If you need help formatting the reference, feel free to just explain it on the article's talk page. Qwyrxian (talk) 09:11, 2 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

March 2011[edit]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. Slasher-fun (talk) 10:22, 2 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning; the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Saltwater crocodile ‎, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Materialscientist (talk) 09:13, 17 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abuse of editing privileges. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=I aknowledge my block, and I would please like to be unblocked, I will no longer vandalise pages and have learnt my leason. ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

Materialscientist (talk) 09:13, 17 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You didn't actually do that correctly. You need to actually copy that whole part (starting and ending from the curly braces, and not copying the tlx. However, you're going to have to explain much more clearly about your intentions. Assuming you're unblocked, what would you do on Wikipedia that is within our guidelines? Given that all of your edits so far are either vandalism or almost-vandalism, why should we believe you intend to seriously contribute to the project? Qwyrxian (talk) 06:59, 18 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I'm going to go ahead and copy out your unblock request, just so that an admin looks at it, even though I'm not sure how successful it will be:
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I aknowledge my block, and I would please like to be unblocked, I will no longer vandalise pages and have learnt my leason. (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 10:05, 2 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

I'm not convinced that you recognize that Wikipedia is a source of knowledge, and not a toy for playing around with. The nature of all of your edits show a level of immaturity that cannot be tolerated on an encyclopedia. Go back and read WP:5P and all associated articles. Understand them well. In about a week, once you "get it", come back and clearly explain how 100% of your future edits will actually benefit this project (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 10:05, 2 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
