Wikiproject Military history coordinator election nominations open
Nominations for the upcoming project coordinator election are now open. A team of up to ten coordinators will be elected for the next year. The project coordinators are the designated points of contact for issues concerning the project, and are responsible for maintaining our internal structure and processes. They do not, however, have any authority over article content or editor conduct, or any other special powers. More information on being a coordinator is available here. If you are interested in running, please sign up here by 23:59 UTC on 14 September! Voting doesn't commence until 15 September. What is "constructive"?
Thanks for your message. I'm just curious to know why supply of a requested citation and ensuing refinement of a sentence to better reflect a critical appreciation of the accuracy of its sources might not be considered as "constructive". Thanks Jackfork. I made a subsequent edit pursuant to your suggestion in your message to me that I seek guidance from Teahouse. I am currently discussing this with "Limit-theorem".

Had a quick look at the para you added and it doesn't belong where you put it under the, In fiction section. If it belongs anywhere. I also saw in your msg that you were working with Limit-Theorem which is good as I'm very pressed for time. In short, and I'm only talking about the one paragraph it is either just your opinion on the new position or is original research. Your reference didn't appear to support what you wrote. These comments only relate to the edit I reverted and not your later ones. Which while much better still use buzz words that draw scrutiny. Jackfork (talk) 02:06, 2 September 2021 (UTC)
Thanks for your further reply. "Limit-theorem" last asked me to use the talk page of the entry but no further response there as yet. I had last attempted to create a new section that related to "non-academic" real-life individuals using the title "professor", since other examples in the article (such as saloon players and puppeteers) were arguably equally misplaced. "Limit-theorem" thought this was incongruent but hasn't yet suggested what would be less incongruent. However, if the issue is "buzz words", is there any guidance on a list of words that should not be used in articles? Or is scrutiny necessarily a bad thing? I appreciate that you are limited for time but I am just trying to improve and update an article where I can assist with the parts of the article that need supporting references ("citation needed"), as flagged up at the top of its page, and this seems to have in turn drawn attention to other perceived incongruities, as reflected in the Teahouse discussion but without a clear consensus overall on what is acceptable.
