MJHL Teams[edit]

Hello, I am from Southern Ontario... and I can't find any info on the MJHL, its past standings... or anything of any importance to enhance its article... would you be interested in lending a hand? DMighton 21:21, 5 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. In the future, it is recommended that you use the preview button before you save; this helps you find any errors you have made, and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history. Thanks again. Rich257 16:17, 6 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sourcing[edit]

I notice that you've created some articles about members of the Perrin family. While they certainly look interesting and notable characters, the information there needs sourcing in reliable published sources per Wikipedia:Attribution. Tearlach 17:49, 1 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have many published references and sources. Just not sure how to present them since I'm new to your encyclopedia. I created the new articles because you had significant errors in articles dealing with Winnipeg Arena, Winnipeg Warriors, Western Hockey League, Olympic Rink, Winnipeg (Shea's) Amphitheatre, Wolseley Expedition, all of which I have direct knowledge about, as well as numerous references to cite.
Wikipedia:Citing sources has details of various reference formats. The one I quite like is footnotes. You make a section at the foot of the article starting with ==References==, and put the line {{reflist}} in it. Then whenever you want to create a footnote reference, you put the details in the article like this <ref>details of the reference source</ref>. And that automatically generates a footnote. Here's an example: Oskar Speck. Tearlach 23:36, 9 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
