Eros Labs speedy

I removed your speedy request from Eros Labs, which I assume you got to via Eros International in NPP; I redirected the new to the old. See the G-news hits; I don't think there is any question whatsoever that it is notable, even if the entry doesn't assert. 9Nak (talk) 13:03, 4 August 2008 (UTC)

thankspam

Thanks to everyone who participated in my RfA, regardless of their !vote. I have withdrawn the nomination as a failure at 19 supports, 45 opposes, and 9 neutral statements.

As has been written and sung, you can't always get what you want, but if you try sometimes, you get what you need — and what I need is to go back to working on our shared project. Not everyone has to be an admin; there is a role for each of us. After reflection, I feel I don't have the temperament to secure community consensus as an admin at any point, and I will not be applying again in the future — and hey, that's all right, 'cause I stay true to the philosophy that adminship is no big deal: I tried, I failed, and now I'll return to doing what I've always done. I have an extremely strong belief in the consensus process, and the consensus was clear. I will be devoting my energies to volunteering at MedCab and working up a complete series of articles on the short stories of Ernest Hemingway, among lord knows what else. Thanks again to everyone who spared the time to weigh in on this one. It was made in better faith than it probably seemed.
Mr. IP Defender of Open Editing 14:20, 4 August 2008 (UTC)

Disrupting and creating DRAMAH wasn't my intention, but it looks like that's the overall verdict, so I'll just live with that. Anyway, maybe I just wasn't made to be an admin; we can't all be admins, after all. Hope to work w/ you in the future in my non-admin capacities. Cheers, Mr. IP Defender of Open Editing 14:20, 4 August 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for yours. I am glad that someone else cares as much about his work. There is plenty more information, but probably too much for an encyclopedia article. Colourman (talk) 16:27, 4 August 2008 (UTC)

Sock case

All I would have to say is:
"you'll see..." Arbiteroftruth (talk) 19:04, 4 August 2008 (UTC)

How would it be ridiculous? That sock operator sticks to the book each time, and when you look at Plagues Of Truth's edits, most of them are related to Singaporean actors (in this case, Huang Wenyong) and Western Fantasy/Power Ranger edits. The only edits outside of these two edits are made in regards to Keith deligero, a page whose deletion I proposed. The sock operator also targets pages that I edit sometimes.I can read the guy like a book, Ironholds. Arbiteroftruth (talk) 19:10, 4 August 2008 (UTC)
He has stalked me before. His socks reverted a lot of my reverts of his edits as "revenge attacks" in the past. He also created two impostor accounts that sounds similar to my account's name. Arbiteroftruth (talk) 19:13, 4 August 2008 (UTC)
I can't believe it. I just feel like we are sitting there while the Japanese carriers are steaming to Pearl Harbor. Arbiteroftruth (talk) 19:18, 4 August 2008 (UTC)
OK, I get the point. Let's wait it out, then. Arbiteroftruth (talk) 20:19, 4 August 2008 (UTC)

Help with userpage?

Hi there. I was wondering if you could help me spiff up my userpage? I am still quite new on Wiki, so I am just learning the ropes. Thank you for any assistance you can provide! Silverwolf85 (talk) 20:52, 4 August 2008 (UTC)

Well, I don't remember exactly where I first saw your name. It kept coming up over the past couple of days, and I think the most recent was Mr. IP's RfA attempt.
As far as the spificatation... Let me think here. I did already take one idea from you (hope you don't mind) and added a personal Notes page. Also, I would like a way to organize user boxes as I add those. It's just that I see so many pages that are very cluttered with userboxes, and I don't want mine to end up that way. :) The main thing too, is I'd like to keep it simple, both so it isn't too hard to look at, and so I can easily edit/add/delete things in the future. One aspect of your own page that I liked about was the section up top with the different area links.
I hope this gives you some sort of idea. Please let me know what I can/need to do. That way I can learn a bit too. :) And if you're not too burned out by the end of it all, I'd like to improve my sig too...
Thank you so much for the help!!!
Silverwolf85 (talk) 02:19, 5 August 2008 (UTC)
3:33 AM huh? You really don't have a life, do you? :) The columns I like, to put a few of the main userboxes on my front page (like CVU, LoE, and such). I'd say 6 max. Then the rest, as I collect them anyway, would be cool on a page of their own. Awards, I'm not so worried about. So for the links: Talk, Notes (already created that one), Userboxes, Sandbox. As far as the background is concerned, a blue color, in the lighter range would be nice. And I suppose an archiving system would be good, especially as time goes on.
As far as vandalism. Yeah, that one reared it's ugly head a few days ago. As you can see, the very kind administrator Gb had to put semi protection on both of my pages for a few days, which expires later today if I remember right. Let's just say I upset a would be vandal by going and reverting one of his beautiful revisions, and it just went down hill from there.
The signature. Hmmm.... Can we do just dark blue for my name and dark green for my talk link? Nice and simple I think...
And with the adoption issue... If you're willing to, that would be awesome! Just so you know that after Aug 11, I will be cut down to logging in every two days or so, except for the weekends, which will leave me more time. I am a teacher, and out school begins on the 11th, so I'll have less free time on my hands...

Silverwolf85 (talk) 02:58, 5 August 2008 (UTC)

Batales

Well, if no one is commenting on the issue, then we can probably merge them in good faith, provided, I feel, that we make a clear note in the talk page of what we did and if we made sure that the original article was backed up. In fact, I would add that we might do well, as a community, to make it our policy on old orders and families of plants-that they be merged into the history of the current (APG II) system. Exceptions being made where there is an extraordinary cause, i.e. an old order with a particularly meaningful history to it where a merge would be...distasteful. Beat Buddha (talk) 02:14, 5 August 2008 (UTC)

Teaching and signatures....

Lol! I love the quote. And there are days when it can be soooooo true. :)

As far as the sig, can I keep the Silverwolf85(Talk) format, but have the colors run together throughout? Silverwolf85 (talk) 06:51, 5 August 2008 (UTC)

I mean can you split the colors like yours, but spread it across the entire sig, and not just the username....
Speaking of morning coffee, I need to get up in six hours, so I better call it a night I'm afraid. I wont be back on till afternoon California time, so I'll talk with you later. Thank you again! I hope I haven't been too much of a hassle. :)
Silverwolf85 (talk) 07:02, 5 August 2008 (UTC)
Well, it is much appreciated! Silverwolf85 (talk) 02:58, 6 August 2008 (UTC)

Re: WikiUpdate

It would be great. I would like t use Skype while recording, in the event of an interview or discussion. if possible. You could also just do a news story. RedThunder 10:38, 5 August 2008 (UTC)

I think 2010 is a very good idea. Record it and and I'll get it in the next show. As for the other show, this is just a new podcast. I kind of got fed up with the drama at RWP and decided to start my own while it is inactive (possible longer). RedThunder 10:47, 5 August 2008 (UTC)
(edit conflict) I'd like the segment recorded by 11:00 tomorrow (your time), because I record an hour later. I'm spreading the word by posting on the community portal, and adding a "subscription box" to it. Sykpe debate: great idea. I suggest we gather up users with a sizable age range and have discussion on age/admin. Others involved in the project: Mastrchf91, Shapiros10, Vhoschythe, Xenocidic (possible), and gears of War. RedThunder 11:02, 5 August 2008 (UTC)
I don't have the equipment to record segments, but if you were up to it I could telephone in and we can do an actual conversation or interview (which often sounds more entertaining). Ecoleetage (talk) 16:08, 5 August 2008 (UTC)
No, I currently live on the East Coast of the USA. It is a four hour time difference if I were to ring you. Ecoleetage (talk) 16:14, 5 August 2008 (UTC)
No, regular phone. Ecoleetage (talk) 16:17, 5 August 2008 (UTC)

Article merger

Hi - I don't mind which way round the merger is - I've tagged both articles. If Unlearned Parliament is indeed the name used in scholarly works, I can't imagine there would be an objections to merging into your new article. Warofdreams talk 10:56, 5 August 2008 (UTC)

Keeping in touch...

Hi Ironholds! Just wanted to let you know what has been going on with me. I have been busy working on projects of my own for quite awhile. I just wanted to let you know what happened to me. I have been gone for so long I hope I haven't forgotten how to edit pages! I already have a page I may need help with, but I am going to try working on it on my own first. Keep in mind I am a beginner, so if I come to you with something small and silly be patient with me! Thank you again for introducing me to wikipedia and taking the small steps along with me! coldgarden (talk) 17:12, 6 August 2008 (UTC)

WikiUpdate

Very nice job today, enjoyed your episode. Mastrchf (t/c) 21:26, 6 August 2008 (UTC)

Sorry about vanishing, I was on an overnight trip. I have downloaded skype, and am on as Redthunder42. Want to do a joint show today? RedThunder 21:40, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
Sure, but we need a topic. I'll record. RedThunder 21:42, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
Sounds good. I'm ready when you are. RedThunder 21:46, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
Redthunder42. RedThunder 21:49, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
I've actually been chatting with RedThunder for a while about a collaborative interview, and we spoke about it on Skype today. So, I should be a contributor for at least a few episodes. Mastrchf (t/c) 22:23, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
I believe interviewing WikiProject coordinators, especially some of the larger ones like MILHIST, would be a great idea. Perhaps an interview with a regular RfA voter on what they look for in an RfA. And my personal favorite, a deletionist v. inclusionist debate. Mastrchf (t/c) 22:37, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
I'd truly be interested in each. I have some experience in interviewing along with other audio work, and in my experience, it's usually best for two people to conduct an interview, so I'd most likely be one of those. I'd be interested in debating for the inclusionist side for the last idea, also. Mastrchf (t/c) 22:43, 6 August 2008 (UTC)

<-- Basically, two interviewers gives the ability to have an interview with different POVs being expressed through questions. Usually this helps to appeal to multiple types of viewers, as many hold different opinions. I've also found that personally it's a bit more aesthetically pleasing to the ears. The latter is more subjective, but I prefer 2 over one. Mastrchf (t/c) 22:50, 6 August 2008 (UTC)

Definitely a debate. This is one which could turn into a large debate, possibly 5 people depending on the views. 2 Inclusionists, 2 deletionists, and a moderator. Mastrchf (t/c) 23:00, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
Basically, I imagine 3 types of programs- Interviews, debates, and broadcasts. Broadcasts will be the standard information interviews, enlightening the viewers on parts of Wikipedia. These would consist of the standard 1 person announcement style. Interviews could be either a part of a broadcast, or an episode in itself. These would consist of 2 people interviewing 1 or 2 persons just about aspects of Wikipedia, but would only be an interview, no debate. A debate would most likely be its own episode, with multiple people voicing their own views and opinions on a point. Mastrchf (t/c) 23:10, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
Exactly. Also, as I said, if we ever needed to, a debate could suffice for a single episode. But you get my general idea. And I believe the philosophy thing would be best as a debate if anything, with differing viewpoints. Interviews are usually meant to have only one viewpoint, that being from the interviewee, and opposing viewpoints from the interviewers, in my opinion. Mastrchf (t/c) 23:20, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
Basically, with age and adminship, I believe that we'd have to have a pro-youth person, if they are relatively young, act mature, lest it appear that we used it to discourage young admins. I personally hold the opinion that you should look at each candidate as if he or she were the same age, and view one for their work and maturity. If they're young and display immaturity, or if they're older and display immaturity, I'd be unlikely to vote for either. I personally think that a debate would be best, but an interview might be the easiest. We could simply ask them the same line of questions and play them back to back.
For the inclusionist/deletionist, definitely a debate.
WikiPhilosophy could be done either way. I'd say it should depend on the schedules of our participants. Mastrchf (t/c) 23:59, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
All of that sounds good to me. Mastrchf (t/c) 00:19, 7 August 2008 (UTC)
Let me see who I can scrounge up to participate, and I'll let that dictate what side I'm on. Mastrchf (t/c) 00:24, 7 August 2008 (UTC)
Sure. I'm good on most evenings. Mastrchf (t/c) 00:44, 7 August 2008 (UTC)
United States, Central time. Usually, unless it's the morning here, I should be fine. RedThunder and I are only an hour's difference. Mastrchf (t/c) 00:50, 7 August 2008 (UTC)

<-- The Saturday would be more preferable for my schedule. Mastrchf (t/c) 00:54, 7 August 2008 (UTC)

Our schedules are quite similar actually. What a coincidence. That morning should be fine for me. We could always ask Ryan, and perhaps he might have a suggestion as to another party for the debate. Well, I've got to go for the evening, so I'll talk to you more tomorrow. Mastrchf (t/c) 01:01, 7 August 2008 (UTC)
Yes, my email is [email protected]. My Skype is also mastrchf91. Mastrchf (t/c) 15:14, 7 August 2008 (UTC)

Hi

Hi. I'm honestly really sorry for my conduct (the edit to your userpage). I was in a little prankish mood earlier and created this account for such acts. But later I realised that it's pointless to behave like this. My amusing-to-some and less-than-deep username is an indication that I originally didn't create this account for any normal contributions to wikipedia. It was the block that made me realise that it's better to do some worthwile contribution rather than while away time like I was doing earlier. So I decided to use this very account for normal contributions. You can see that I've built a totally userboxed userpage, and from my contribs you can find out that I've started making serious edits. Once again, I'm sorry for my conduct, and I hope that I do get forgiveness for this act. Sincerely

WP:OLY has a set of guidelines on how to update the Olumpics pages. Due to the fact that Beijing 2008 is going on, many users try to update the ages. This set of rules may be ignored, it would be good for users to hear. RedThunder 12:12, 13 August 2008 (UTC)

You deleted our page because "we're not a serious band." Well we took this to heart, and engaged in a series of vigorous training excersises to become "a serious band." We even drank raw eggs. We are like the musical Rocky, if Rocky were 3 bored high schoolers. It's a High School Musical, if you will. Will you?

Well, we have a forthcoming album called Songs In The Key Of English, and we would just like you to know that we've dedicated it to you.

...and whilst we sort of all fit that general description, I'm (of course) referring to your work in recording the like-named audio project! I thought I'd swing by and say hello, because I've been involved in the 'Not The Wikipedia Weekly' project - so we've both done some work in getting people talking and listening!

I wondered if you might want to come along to a Skype based discussion at some point - both just to generally hang out (because it's quite cool to do so!) - but also maybe to talk about how we might work together, and how we might be able to support each others' efforts etc. - if you pop along to our 'homepage' you'll find a link to a public Skype chat which is pretty active most of the time - or you can just add me as a Skype contact (ID Privatemusings) and I could introduce you to whoever's around!

Kingman Research

Howdy--

Thanks for letting me know about the propose deletion. As of today, I am learning more what I can do in researching to increase the information on each site that I am working on. I just started, I like doing than trying to read everything, I am more hands on. I have been working on setting up a guided walking tour of Historic Downtown Kingman. I have also done a small newspaper to be give to each person on the tour and this is just a small amount of information so far. I will be giving out the paper to the owner of the properties listed on the registery and hopefully I will get more information on the houses and buildings. So please bear with me. It you see something I need to know, let me know. Thanks, RobChilcoatr (talk) 00:05, 22 August 2008 (UTC)

Baronets

Hello. Please note that for disambugation purposes, Sir is included in the article names of some baronets, to distinguish them from their predecessors and/or successors. I have reverted your edits here and here. Craigy (talk) 02:24, 23 August 2008 (UTC)

Re: A question

Yes, sometimes. Mostly on politicians and political areas of County Durham, but even more so on peers and baronets. Why d'you ask? Craigy (talk) 03:19, 23 August 2008 (UTC)

Ah, that I can't really help with, I'm afraid. I'm rubbish at prose and usually ask others to do it as well. I'll do my best in creating articles on Stewards that were younger sons of dukes or marquesses (those with the prefix Lord), though, if it helps(?) Craigy (talk) 03:36, 23 August 2008 (UTC)
You could try User:Malleus Fatuorum or User:Epicadam. Craigy (talk) 03:44, 23 August 2008 (UTC)
Lots = 2? :-) Craigy (talk) 03:48, 23 August 2008 (UTC)
Ah right. Originally, all peers had links, but a lot really aren't that notable (i.e. they were rich enough to sit on their arses all day or didn't have a political career), so it was decided to de-link them. Craigy (talk) 03:52, 23 August 2008 (UTC)
I forgot to pass on this link - not so handy for list content, but definately worth a read, if you haven't done so already. Craigy (talk) 08:08, 27 August 2008 (UTC)

Fun with MPs

I noticed your edit summary and decided to poke around Google Books a bit. Searched for "'william michell' bodmin" to narrow things down, and came up with "Modern English Biography", volume II, linked in the References section. Says it covers people who died between 1850 and 1897 or so. I don't know if Google has other volumes (this is I–Q), but it looks like an excellent mine for stubs.

It's a pleasure to see someone grinding away at our collection of MP redlinks, and I thoroughly approve of your quixotic ambition with regards to the Stewards of the Manor of Northstead. I've been thinking of knocking together a little "how-to" for writing articles on British officialdom: succession boxes, common categories, other offices to look for, and so on. Would you be interested? Choess (talk) 00:05, 25 August 2008 (UTC)

"Quixotic" was more or less in jest; I've created any number of MP stubs myself. They can be a bit painful to compile, but we do have nicely formatted tables for some of the constituencies, which should eventually become the norm. I'll see what I can do about a guide. I look forward to working with you. Choess (talk) 03:15, 25 August 2008 (UTC)
I've started drafting the guide here, but I still have plenty of work to do on it. Feel free to revise/ask questions. Choess (talk) 14:39, 25 August 2008 (UTC)
I'd say I'm a pretty dab hand at prose at this point. Anything you'd like to point me towards? Choess (talk) 02:49, 26 August 2008 (UTC)
An interesting challenge. I am tempted to suggest merging the list with Manor of Northstead itself. The latter article is unlikely to grow much longer, and suggests itself as the foundation for a lead section. The status of Chalmers presents something of a problem. The information now there is probably accurate (E 197/1 does indeed correspond to Seal Office records of the Exchequer, including warrants of appointment to Crown stewardships 1787–1846), but it begs for more context. As pointed out, the writ to replace Chalmers was written as if he took the Chiltern Hundreds (or so the Gazette reports). It would be interesting to know if there was any entry in the corresponding book of warrants for the Chiltern Hundreds (in the same collection) for that date. Unfortunately, I can't imagine that it's in fact very easy to peruse those records. It would also be interesting to know why MPs started using Poynings and then Northstead to resign (to replace East Hendred?) but I doubt any records exist that would clear this up. I'll look into the merger, though; that would probably be a good start. Choess (talk) 13:48, 26 August 2008 (UTC)
Er, wait. Chalmers resigned in 1842, so he would predate the list. Choess (talk) 16:19, 27 August 2008 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of "Patrick McDermott (MP)"

A page you created, Patrick McDermott (MP), has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it is about a real person, group of people, band, club, company, organisation, or web content, but does not indicate why its subject is important or significant.

You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.

Speedy deletion of "Oliver Young (MP)"

Please see Wikipedia:POLITICIAN#Additional_criteria. Meeting one section of this wp:guideline does not necessarily mean that the subject is notable. In these particular cases the only assertion of notability appears to be meeting that part of the guideline, but provides no other context. There's no apparent reason that they are notable. Is there sourced information on what they did, who they were associated with, something that they accomplished that makes them relevant? Becky Sayles (talk) 08:22, 27 August 2008 (UTC)

Right, "This is a secondary criterion". And it appears to fail the primary criterion. Perhaps if you included something about these pages you mentioned it would make more sense. Becky Sayles (talk) 08:43, 27 August 2008 (UTC)

Whalley was even weirder than the DYK reveals; he was also a zealous supporter of the Tichborne Claimant. I've fixed the links to his son (George) Hampden Whalley, the one who took the Manor of Northstead; he seems to have resigned due to financial distress, as he went bankrupt later in the year. Hadithes

Okay you have to understand something: the Qur'an is (the only) Islam book. The hadith could´ve been said 1400 years ago or someone could´ve just composed it himself. You cannot be sure. That is why we take hadithes as advices in life only but out book is only the Qur'an and the hadith does not have any authority to ad anything to Islam, it only cleares some stuff out. And due to the fact that a hadith could´ve been composed by anyone in the last 1400 years, it is not qualified to be a reference. Nice talking to you! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Y2H (talkcontribs) 11:34, 3 September 2008 (UTC)

Oh it needed to be changed! I live in an Islamic community okay? And I am telling you that Muslims do not believe in it. Maybe a very very small number of them do, like a small number of Christians don't believe in Transfiguration, for example. That doesn't mean I can write a section saying Christians don't believe in it. And the section said showed Islamic believe in the Antichrist. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Y2H (talkcontribs) 12:01, 3 September 2008 (UTC)

You still don´t get it. The eschatology does not say that! In Islam there is only Qur'an and there are studies to explain the Qur'an. That´s it! A person who will read this section will understand that Islam announces the coming of the Antichrist, which isn´t true. You got me? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Y2H (talkcontribs) 13:36, 3 September 2008 (UTC)

Chris Hornbrook ‎

I suggest you have another look at the A7 criteria. To quote:

  • An article about a real person (...) that does not indicate why its subject is important or significant. As there are indications of why the person is significant in the article (a member of the band Poison The Well), the article did not meet this criteria.
  • to avoid speedy deletion an article does not have to prove that its subject is notable, just give a reasonable indication of why it might be notable. The fact that the person might not have met WP:MUSIC or WP:BIO is not important, what's important is that notablility has been asserted.

In addition, I was able to find the following in about five minutes of searching:

Given the above, not only do I believe it wasn't a valid A7, but I'm not entirely convinced that we would reach consensus to delete at AfD. That said, if you wish to {{prod}} the article to see if anyone else cares, I won't object or remove the tag. Lankiveil (speak to me) 14:08, 3 September 2008 (UTC).

No worries mate, A7 is sometimes trickier than it appears at first, and it continues to do my head in on occasion =). Lankiveil (speak to me) 14:11, 3 September 2008 (UTC).

You just don´t get it do ya? In Islam it only what God (ate least we believe so) told us not what humans do. We don´t go to priests for forgiving for example or to take permission to do something. So the eschatology doesn´t matter really if it wasn´t mentioned by God then it´s not in the religion. Anyway you know that a weak man never admits he´s wrong and I´m truly sorry to say that this is what you appear to me. It wasn´t mentioned by God...that´s it! Islam is a religion in which people don´t add to modify stuff. We don´t have Torah written by a rabbi and another versions by another Rabi because people are not allowed to add stuff to the religion...and as clear as that is you still seem to understand it. So just do what you want with the page. You think you understand the religion more than me it´s your thinking. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Y2H (talkcontribs) 23:53, 3 September 2008 (UTC)

And the idiot who wrote this nonsense without any reference? At least I say it wasn´t mentioned in a reference (the Qur'an) and that is as good as citing a reference. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Y2H (talkcontribs) 12:22, 4 September 2008 (UTC)

I'm new on wikipedia

Hi there. I'm new on the wikipedia and I have just started to create the article about the matrix ordinary differential equations. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Vadimvadim (talkcontribs) 19:16, 4 September 2008 (UTC)

This argument is pointless because I don´t care about what´s in the damn page anymore! And because there isn´t a need to be an argument, the fact that it isn´t in the Qur'an should close the argument in the first place but you (at least in my point of view, not necessarily a fact) are just too weak to admit I´m right. It´s okay anyway.

And one last thing, yeah the state of Israel would solve a lot of problems, let´s take an army go attack the people in Jordan, Egypt, Iraq..etc. kick them out of their homes and name this place after ourselves because 10000000 years ago you ancestors lived there. It´s your right to do this and it would solve problems I´m sure.

Nice talking to ya. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Y2H (talkcontribs) 19:27, 4 September 2008 (UTC)

I remember your words were "I don´t believe it should be there (although it would solve many problems)." If I miss-remembered it..well it´s not like I called you names because I thought you said so. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Y2H (talkcontribs) 19:33, 4 September 2008 (UTC)

You know I gotta tell you something, you probably didn´t expect to hear this from me: most people just follow what their parents and grandparents thoughts and believes. A very very few people decide to use their heads and judge old believes and see if they like it or not. You seem to be one of those people. It was just easier to go saying: "well my ancestors believed that and so will I."

You know, one day I thought there are people from other religions who believe they´re right, so do I. But why am I surely right and they´re wrong? Because my parents think so? And I read in the bible and read a bit in the Torah and tried to learn some stuff about Christianity and Judaism to see if I should convert. I like to think there are other people (who don´t do the same thing exactly! but) who think in this way, too. :) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Y2H (talkcontribs) 19:42, 4 September 2008 (UTC)
