Hello, I am Diannaa and I am a Wikipedia administrator. www.census2011.co.in is a copyright website, and therefore it's not okay for you to copy their material to Wikipedia. It looks like a government of India website, but it's not, and even if it were, it would not be okay to copy, because the Government of India copyrights their material as well. All material you add to Wikipedia needs to be written in your own words please. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 22:28, 12 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Its the census data. It is only available with the government. I won't go and count number if people in the town. Indoyan (talk) 03:01, 13 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

How to add source? List the code. Because two languages were added as official recently Indoyan (talk) 17:32, 10 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Stop removing content selectively. Magadhi Prakrit is the ancestor of eastern Indo-Aryan languages that include Bengali-Assamese, Odia, Bihari languages and Halbic languages. This is a well sourced thing. DO not remove content based on your preferences. And yes, Maithili is much close to Bengali and is often times grouped differently than Magahi and Bhojpuri, which are also considered to be dialects of Hindi by some linguists as well as Indian govt. (see census 2011), but Maithili is not. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 19:37, 18 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Magahi culture, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Santhal (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:16, 14 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Utpal Kumar Singh requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. — Amkgp 💬 10:39, 1 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Utpal Kumar Singh. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Contest this speedy deletion, which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. — Amkgp 💬 11:21, 1 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Magahi language. This is by far not the first reminder about unsourced content, so you you should clearly be aware of the policy. Austronesier (talk) 09:30, 2 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon This is your only warning; if you make personal attacks on others again, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. Austronesier (talk) 12:31, 3 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Ok whatever. Lmao i will remove every data with no citations now. Thanks for telling me this. There are many languages where sample phrases are written without citations. I will be helpful. Thanks Indoyan (talk) 17:17, 3 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

After you have reattached it, I recommend to read (or re-read) the WP guidelines, before you accidentally remove text that is supported by a reliable source. –Austronesier (talk) 21:43, 3 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

No citations = Not allowed. Thats it. Thanks Indoyan (talk) 14:48, 4 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
