The article International Journal of Medical Education has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- new journal established in 2010 with only a handful of articles published. Cannot yet be notable, no independent third party sources, journal apparently not indexed in any selective databases. Article creation premature. Does not meet WP:NJournals or WP:GNG.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Crusio (talk) 23:15, 19 February 2011 (UTC)

At the moment, the papers are indexed in the DOAJ, EBSCO, ProQuest, JournalSeek, the Australian Education Index (Only articles by Australians). Please do not remove this page I am pleased to inform you that since we began publication of the International Journal of Medical Education (IJME) in April 2010 more than 11000 people have accessed articles from the journal website. This is because the journal does NOT charge contributors for publishing their articles. From submission to publication, it’s free of charge. This is very important especially for low income academic staff who are living in developing and under developing countries. We have encouraged by these countries. We are currently receiving a large number of papers from across the word, but majority of them have been declined by reviewers. We are happy to address your concern in our page(Ijmededuc (talk) 10:40, 20 February 2011 (UTC)).
- Replying to your email: I blocked this username, and the block message gives a link you can use to create a new username. Please see the section above called "Proposed deletion of International Journal of Medical Education" for some links that discuss which Wikipedia pages on journals are generally kept and which ones are deleted. - Dank (push to talk) 17:31, 21 February 2011 (UTC)
- I did receive your emails (posting on talk pages is better, though, that keep things in he open). However, I don't think that the links you have added to the article justify removing the PROD template. I will take the article to AfD if it shouldbe de-PRODded, which would make re-creation if it becomes notable (i.e., inclusion in major selective databases) much more difficult. --Crusio (talk) 12:39, 26 February 2011 (UTC)
- Your reply: I have addressed your comments and the IJME is now a popular journal. The journal contributes to new knowledge which comes from all countries. For this reason, this page can help our readers to learn more about the aims and scope of the journal. --IJME (talk) 12:56, 26 February 2011 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, unless you have independent reliable sources that show this popularity and impact, there cannot be an article. As recommended by Dank, please read some of the policies and guidelines about what constitutes "notability" (in the WP sense, this has nothing to do with quality/usefulness, etc). --Crusio (talk) 12:59, 26 February 2011 (UTC)
