Speedy deletion nomination of Stan T Cooper[edit]

Sadly, your "one external link" does not even come close to meeting the requirements for inclusion in Wikipedia. We can only accept articles with multiple, independent, secondary reliable sources that establish the notability of the subject. Wikipedia is not the place to advertise yourself or drum up business – there are many, many other places on the web where you can do that. Swpbtalk 20:08, 26 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

But he took photos of Kate & William!! And the Saudi elections!!!! That is mega-notable. --I'm the parasite (talk) 20:09, 26 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
So find and add independent, secondary reliable sources (articles in known newspapers, etc.) written primarily about this photographer and his significance. I'm sure you'll understand why we can't just take your word for it. Swpbtalk 20:12, 26 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Yep. --I'm the parasite (talk) 20:16, 26 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, now we have a problem. It is not acceptable for you to remove the speedy deletion tags from the page. If an administrator decides the article shouldn't be deleted, it will stay, but you do not get to make that decision. Most likely, the article will be deleted. If and when you find reliable sources that you believe meet our criteria (and please actually read the criteria I've linked for you), you can create the article again. Swpbtalk 20:20, 26 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Thanx very much Swbp, I have now removed all features pointing to advertising and won't put them back. Sincerest wishes.--I'm the parasite (talk) 20:38, 26 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
That has nothing to do with what I said. If you continue on this path of ignoring our policies and the advice of veteran editors, the only thing you'll accomplish is to get yourself permanently blocked. Swpbtalk 21:36, 26 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I've replied to you on my talk page but just to add to that, two editors have now advised you that removing speedy deletion templates from a page that you created is unacceptable. As I said to you on my talk, both "references" you've added seem to be about different people or organisations, not about the subject of this article, who you claim to be a royal wedding photographer, even though I can't find any evidence of a person of that name at such a highly-documented event. Are you sure he exists? Valenciano (talk) 20:56, 26 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Yes the photographer exists, he's me. Satisfied now? --I'm the parasite (talk) 22:21, 26 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Very satisfied, actually, as that explanation just raises no questions. As the photographer was you, an Englishman born in 1954, Thanx for your source. But why did you link to a site of an American company, knowing full well that that wasn't you, then claim that that backed up the claims in your article? Oh well, nothing to do with me so I mind my own business. Valenciano (talk) 17:05, 27 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

It was very appropriate but I just coud not provide the sources for what I was trying to introduce. --I'm the parasite (talk) 22:24, 26 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
