SCOPE Alliance[edit]

I believe you have removed the article on SCOPE Alliance in error. There is no copy right violation on the part of SCOPE there are several articles out there including digitalmediaasia that copied our orriginal press release and "white papers" without attributing them to us. If need be I can provide the orriginal articles and their edit history that goes back to 2005. Please let me know what information you need in order to restore our article.

I just sent you an email about that. It said:
Hi Henry,
If you want to keep that text in the article and you are the copyright holder, please follow the instructions here:
Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission
Basically, you have to:
  1. Send an email to scope-alliance.org asking for permission to use the text under the GFDL license.
  2. Forward both the email you sent and the answer you received to "permissions AT wikimedia DOT org"
  3. Add the {{confirmation}} template to Talk:SCOPE Alliance. I can do this for you if needed.

SCOPE Alliance[edit]

Hi Mushroom, I am the Marketing officer for SCOPE alliance and a member of the SCOPE Alliance Board of Directors should I just send a letter to the SCOPE Alliance BOD mailing reflector and ask for and receive official permission from the BOD to use the information in the article under GFDL?

Henry

Yes, then forward the two letters to "permissions AT wikimedia DOT org" so that the Wikimedia Foundation can keep it in its archives. After you have done that, contact me and I will restore the article. Mushroom (Talk) 16:54, 25 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

SCOPE Alliance[edit]

Hi Henry, sorry if I didn't answer but I was on wikibreak. The article got deleted by mistake, and I have now restored it. Mushroom (Talk) 18:09, 10 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The article SCOPE Alliance has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable organization.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. TNXMan 15:41, 14 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
