Speedy deletion nomination of Highroad No. 28[edit]

A tag has been placed on Highroad No. 28 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics. None of your assertions about the band that you made on my talk page (international touring, multiple major-label albums) were present in the article text. Additionlly, there were no independent reliable sources present in the article. As a result, the article met criterion A7 and was speedy deleted. If you want to recreate the article, I strongly suggest that you find some sources independent of the band that demonstrate its notability. —C.Fred (talk) 04:24, 31 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
