Welcome and suggestion[edit]

Hi there. Let me suggest that you (and your teacher especially) should work with the Wiki community before you leave a very, very large addition in an article. Some content might not be appropriate, so we can help you a lot, but you (and again your teacher!) should consult someone here. A good place to ask general questions is at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Chemistry. People that are planning on large edits often let the community by leaving a note on the talk page of the article they are planning to edit. For example, you could explain your goals at Talk:Noyori asymmetric hydrogenation.

This kind of communication is very helpful and will spare you effort. If there are other student projects underway at your school, please ask your teacher to contact Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Chemistry or me at User talk:Smokefoot.

The main advice that I recommend is that editors aim for secondary sources. See WP:SECONDARY. Inexperienced chemists always want to cite journal articles, so it takes some experience finding general sources appropriate for an encyclopedia.

Good luck and feel free to leave a note here.--Smokefoot (talk) 04:11, 8 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification[edit]

Hi. In Noyori asymmetric hydrogenation, you recently added links to the disambiguation pages Base and Intermediate (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. For more information, see the FAQ or drop a line at the DPL WikiProject.
