Copyright violation in Adam Smith Foundation[edit]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Adam Smith Foundation, by DGG (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Adam Smith Foundation is unquestionably copyright infringement, and no assertion of permission has been made.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Adam Smith Foundation, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 00:54, 9 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Next steps for the article you created[edit]

Harrisjmn, you re-created the Adam Smith Foundation article as only a Template:Hangon and I've subsequently deleted this. The hangon-template is useful only up to the point an article is deleted. If you would like to contest the deletion, please consult Wikipedia:Deletion review. An alternative route would be to discuss the deletion with User:DGG and User:Eluchil404 on their talk pages; they will be able to provide more information on the specifics of why the article was deleted. Notations indicate that the article was initially deleted as it was thought it was a copyright violation of content found at http://www.adamsmithfoundation.org. There is a large literature here on the guidelines for use of copyrighted materials; the main point is that the use of copyrighted materials without verifiable permission from the copyright holder should not be done, period. For more information, you might start at Wikipedia:Copyrights. --User:Ceyockey (talk to me) 01:24, 13 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
