Hi
[edit]Hi! Not sure what you are wanting to do with this edit. The effect was to link the term "Police Academy" to the article Sodder children disappearance, which is not exactly right: people clicking on the term ""Police Academy" should be taken to the article Police academy.
It's alright. Don't worry. It takes a little time to get used to how to do things. I guess you are trying to link the articles Hinterkaifeck murders and Sodder children disappearance so that readers of one article might know of the existence of the other.
One way to do this is in the "See also" section. In some articles, you will see a "See also" section (toward bottom, before the References section). Here a bullet list is given of other articles which might be of interest to the reader or bear upon the subject of the current article are given, like this:
See also
[edit](Look at the source (click on "Edit source") to see how I made the bulleted list, if you're not sure.)
However... I'm not sure how or if Hinterkaifeck murders and Sodder children disappearance are that closely related. There are a lot of unsolved murders and mysterious cases... the usual way to link articles together when there are a lot of similar articles is using Categories... but the one article is in Unsolved murders and the other is in Category:Missing people... they're kind of different occurances... so I dunno if they should really be linked.
But we appreciate your involvement, and keep at it, and I hope you learn more about the Wikipedia and stick around and contribute more! Message me if you have any questions. Herostratus (talk) 23:45, 14 February 2017 (UTC)
