Hello @Laterthanyouthink: I am an experienced editor in Farsi Wikipedia and my goal was not to test. I was searching for the meaning of the words coil, solenoid, etc., and the presence of the inductor on that page completely confused me. That's why I deleted it.

I am not English speaker. If you really tell the inductor the coil, that's all right. But this is probably not the case and the meaning of the coil is the Electromagnetic coil. In this case, my editing can remove this ambiguity.

Thank you for your attention to Wikipedia. Hamidkk (talk) 16:50, 14 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Hamidkk and apologies for the revert. The panel above was an auto-generated one, with the closest wording available to let you know I'd reverted - I didn't really think it was a test. I know next to nothing about electromagnetic things, and was only acting on the removal of content (the separate entry for Induction), and the introduction of a second blue link on a disambiguation page, which does not conform to MOS:DAB. Inductor is there as a separate entry because (as per the first line in that article), it is also referred to as " a coil, choke, or reactor" - so it should appear under all of those terms, either as a redirect or on a DAB page (which is the case for each of those terms). Secondary to this, is the second blue link on the same line entry, which is not allowed per stylistic convention and ease of use for readers. I hope this makes sense?
