Coordinates[edit]

Just an update to my earlier reply to your message on my talk page: the link to capture recent changes to articles marked with {{coord missing}} should be http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:RecentChangesLinked&hidebots=0&target=Category%3ALondon_articles_missing_geocoordinate_data (and so on, with the name of the country or subnational region changed as necessary) in order to capture both human and bot edits. -- The Anome (talk) 09:43, 27 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yes You are correct. The photos show the locations of the churches- I was very careful with that, but somehow I have transposed tehm Will Untranspose them Bashereyre (talk) 22:03, 13 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Dollis Brook Viaduct[edit]

I've noticed that you took both the photo of the viaduct and have been involved with the Edgware, Highgate and London Railway. Do you know where i can find more information on the Dollis Brook Viaduct? Simply south (talk) 13:52, 21 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Anything on the history really and the description and other things. I will get a book in a few days saying more about it in some aspects. And thank you. Simply south (talk) 20:40, 21 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Rollback[edit]

I have granted rollback rights to your account; the reason for this is that after a review of some of your contributions, I believe I can trust you to use rollback correctly by using it for its intended usage of reverting vandalism, and that you will not abuse it by reverting good-faith edits or to revert-war. For information on rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback and Wikipedia:Rollback feature. If you do not want rollback, just let me know, and I'll remove it. Good luck and thanks. –Juliancolton | Talk 19:09, 13 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Recent reversion[edit]

Hi,

you recently reverted one of my edits to the Battle of Jericho. I gave an explanation for the edit here.

Sorry I missed the talk page comment Grim23 (talk) 14:36, 17 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Graffiti[edit]

In response to your message, I'm aware of the policy on British/American English. That's actually why I changed "favoured" to "favored"; I didn't see any British English so I thought I was following policy. However, after doing a search of "ou" and "re" I found two instances of "centre" and one of "coloured". My mistake. Gbern3 (talk) 16:32, 27 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of alumni[edit]

What possessed you to remove all those people? Do you not have better things to do? DinosaursLoveExistence (talk) 13:00, 5 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I removed some of the people that were included because they were not notable. The rest of the contribution gives useful information to the article. Could you add citations to it to improve the article? Grim23 13:38, 5 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Plz be careful with rollback[edit]

Hi, would you mind taking a second look at this? Sometimes this place can get rather complex :) ϢereSpielChequers 13:23, 8 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

That diff is a little embarrassing, I'll be more mindful in future. Thanks for bringing it to my attention Grim23 13:36, 8 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Retroactive gift of new award![edit]

Nezzadar's Rabbit of Appreciation
Much like rabbits, vandals occur in large numbers and are considered by some to be a nuisance. However while rabbits are cute, vandals are not. For defending my user page from a vandal, and possibly also blocking said vandal, I give you "Nezzadar's Rabbit of Appreciation". Take this random award featuring an image of an adorable mammal, and let it be a sign to others that you fight the good fight. From your completely insane friend,   Nezzadar   .

Proposed major reforms to decade articles[edit]

Hi - I noticed you have contributed recently to one or more of the decade articles (1990s, 1960s etc). I am proposing some major changes to these articles, as I have outlined in Talk:1990s/Archives/2012#Suggested_reform_of_decade_articles, and I would be interested in hearing your views in the first instance. Thanks. Kransky (talk) 09:05, 17 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Recent Correction to Coconut Crabs[edit]

I wanted to ask why my comment to the Coconut Crab page was deemed "unconstructive." I supported my analysis with a direct citation to a reputable source. I think my comment fit very well within the section of the coconut crab diet that was discussing little-known behaviors of the coconut crab. Thank you.

Sorry, it seemed far fetched that coconut crabs were "responsible" for Amelia Earhart's disappearance and seemed out of place in the "Diet" section. On second look I see your edit was in good faith. Sorry again and thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. Grim23 03:54, 27 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. Would you please revert/re-post my contribution to the Coconut Crab page? I think this is a fascinating fact about the coconut crab, and I think it gives an interesting insight into the coconut crab's daily doins'. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.132.107.3 (talk) 13:32, 27 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Done, although I'm not sure if this text should be in the diet section. (By the way, to sign your posts type four tildes like this ~~~~) Grim23 15:45, 27 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

wiki email[edit]

Next time you email me, please do it with this new (unbanned) account; & not with the the old banned one.

Ehh, come to think of it; please don´t ever email me again, Thank you. Huldra (talk) 14:53, 16 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Huldra, you've made a mistake, I use talkpages to communicate to other editors and have only ever had one account. If you disagree with an edit I've made I would be happy to discuss it. Just out of interest, who is the banned editor? No hard feelings :-) Grim23 17:56, 16 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Grim 23,

I need your help in preventing User talk:71.195.186.130 from his/her continuous vandalism of the above-mentioned page. It seems that there is a feud in the Coptic Orthodox parish in Fresno, California (which is under Patriarchal jurisdiction, within the Archdiocese of North America) causing some to create a fake diocese that he/she insist to add, supported by a web page of a non existing diocese, which, odly enough, redicules that so-called self installe priest (bishop) in words and with the use of a composite photo of that priest dressed in episcopal vestment to prove the point of who ever created that web page. I have tried many times to stop his attempts by failed to bring common sense to his/her persisted vandalism. I see that you have adressed an issue before with the subject in question, perhaps you can ban him/her from future edits. Thank you. Orthopraxia (talk) 21:25, 17 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'm keeping an eye on the editor and page, but I don't think I've enough knowledge of this area, so I've asked some other rollbackers, who have interests in this area, to have a look at the edits. Grim23 01:20, 23 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
