Proposed deletion of GENERAL PICTURE RECOGNITION[edit]

The article GENERAL PICTURE RECOGNITION has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

With no authoritative sources to establish the term, this essay appears to exist to promote http://www.generalpicturerecognition.com alone and fail the WP:GNG guidelines.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. Conflict of interest & username problem[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, the username you have chosen seems to imply that you are editing on behalf of a group, company or website.

There are two issues with this:

It is possible that you have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, you must exercise great caution when editing on topics related to your organization.
Your account cannot represent a group of people. You may wish to create a new account with a username that represents only you. Alternatively, you may consider changing your username to avoid giving the impression that your personal account is being used for promotional purposes.

Regardless of whether you change your name or create a new account, you are not exempted from the guideline to avoid editing where you have a conflict of interest. Speedy deletion nomination of GENERAL PICTURE RECOGNITION[edit]

A tag has been placed on GENERAL PICTURE RECOGNITION requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia.
