Talk to me!

No worries![edit]

No worries whatsoever! I'm still new here too and get counseled my mistakes too. (see my talk page for specific examples if curious.) I would be happy to help you with anything in the future if you'd like and welcome to Wikipedia! Hell in a Bucket (talk) 02:53, 12 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Anthony Police/Rascon[edit]

Your welcome.

It looks like you placed the images on Commons and a bot deleted them stating that Commons does not accept "Fair Use" images. I am not that familiar with the Commons rules. I usually just put images on Wikipedia and occasionally someone else will move them to Commons. Saves me the trouble of figuing it out.

When you want to upload an image. Size and edit it first. Then I upload and ususally put "New Image" in the box for the Summary. One the image is in, I use a template (usually copied from a previous image I have uploaded) to edit the page and correct the information. The bots will look for images without a proper rationale, sometimes they are so fast they beat my edit! Feel free to use the one I have on my images.

When I have an issue and a message is left on my talk page, I try to fixs whatever problem comes up.

If I can be of any other help, just let me know. Oh, and if you have an actual photograph of your badge, I'd love to update the image. I usually get rid of the badge number and put in the year the agency was formed, if the badge has a number. If you have any trouble loading an image of it, you could e-mail it and I could work on it for you.

Have a great day!SGT141 (talk) 18:52, 28 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

One other thing - if you can let me know what the rank insignia look like, I can make a table that shows them. If there is no image that shows the Sergeant stripes the right color - I'll make it. Just tell me what colors. SGT141 (talk) 18:55, 28 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Anthony Police Department[edit]

I have redirected this to Anthony, Texas, see Talk:Anthony, Texas. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 18:45, 28 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I saw your note on my talk page. I have replied on my talk page, undid my bold redirect and restored the previous version of the article, made a proposal to redirect the article, and advertised the proposal on Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Law Enforcement#Proposed incoming redirect from Anthony Police Department (Texas). Hopefully there will be enough replies to gauge consensus.
Further discussion should happen at Talk:Anthony Police Department (Texas)#Proposed redirect to Anthony, Texas, so that people coming in from WikiProject Law Enforcement and the Anthony, Texas article don't miss your comments. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 04:09, 21 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The article Ernesto Rascon has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No evidence of notability other than being the only officer killed in the line of duty of a town of 3,000 people. Fails WP:BIO and WP:N

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. 74.233.245.184 (talk) 22:58, 26 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
