Hi together ! I need some help. I created a site Derek Haas here on the English wikipedia. Now I wanted to add a picture of him which you can find for example on his homepage or on the German wikipedia.

Is there a easy way to import it... or should I just upload it again here ... -or on 'Wikicommons' ?

Images on the German Wikipedia can't be used on the English Wikipedia. It has to be uploaded either to the English Wikipedia or to Wikimedia Commons to be used on Derek Haas. Please let me know if there are any more questions. Thanks! --Mysdaao talk 15:33, 19 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hi. I've been partly observing your attempt to create an article on Derek Haas, but I don't quite understand what has happened. I've seen the text at User:Goldsteal/Derek Haas, and it looks to me like a reasonable stub article (It needs to declare itself as a stub). I also saw you enquiry of User talk:NJA, and it looked to me as if he never replied to you. Is that right? I think you should persist with the article, in any case. No, he didn't -as far as I know. Is there a exact way to persist ... That means a person I should definitly contact or a talkpage to write at ... As that one from Derek Haas::Talk:Derek Haas was deleted of course. Do what do I have to do to show that the article is important ... I mean as far as I know a writer of one best-selling-books who also worked on a huge list of films should be important enough. ^^

What to do if an article I created has been deleted ? Is they a way to persist on the article ? I still think it's a important enough one ... My early rough version -that was still on my hardspace after deletion- can be found here User:Goldsteal/Derek Haas. Thanks for listining and trying to help me,

The message you sent to NJA on 27 February was correct behaviour on your part. Apparently he did not reply, and deleted your message. I consider this a tacit admission that he made a mistake, and wishes to withdraw from the subject. In any case, by not replying he has put you in a position where you can legitimately do as you wish. So I advise you simply to create the article again. I'm pretty sure he will do nothing about it this time. SamuelTheGhost (talk) 11:18, 6 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the answer. Ok, I'll do so after a few changes. :) --Goldsteal (talk) 18:47, 6 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
