There are many ways you can contribute to Wikipedia. Here are a few ideas:

The best way to learn about something is to experience it. Explore, learn, contribute, and don't forget to have some fun!
To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own private sandbox for use any time. Perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put {{My sandbox}} on your user page. By the way, seeing as you haven't created a user page yet, simply click here to start it.

Sincerely, User:112.79.39.63 (talk) 17:48, 8 August 2015 (UTC)   (Leave me a message)[reply]

Hello, and thank you for your recent contribution. I appreciate the effort you made for our project, but unfortunately I had to undo your edit because I believe the article was better before you made that change. Your edit introduced coding errors into the text.

Feel free to contact me directly if you have any questions. Thank you! Prof. Mc (talk) 14:45, 8 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I suggest you learn how to edit Wikipedia, or there will be problems. Please follow the rules.

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to Jammu and Kashmir, but we cannot accept original research. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, and ideas—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. Kautilya3 (talk) 17:30, 10 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Girish, I have reviewed your edits to Human rights abuses in Jammu and Kashmir, which are all violations of the sourcing policies of Wikipedia. Your edits contradict or mis-state what the sources say. I intend to revert all of your edits, unless you have an explanation. Cheers, Kautilya3 (talk) 09:22, 11 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Request

[edit]

I understand your personal problems, unfortunately there are some rules in Wikipedia. Before further editing i would request you to read the colourful welcome message that i gave you instead of the other one. click every links, read them properly. Or else some administrator will block you from editing. There are lots of experienced pakistani editors who are editing for more than 3 years. Right now you can't deal with them as a new user.

Please understand, no matter how bad an editor is, you should not make any personal attack against him. read :

You must also read these pages : WP:RELIABLE, WP:NEUTRAL, WP:REFSTART and WP:CITE.

Now after that you must read WP:CIRCUS and :

Without reading all these pages, you won't be able to match the experienced Pakistani editors. 112.79.35.188 (talk) 05:01, 11 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Constructive contributions are appreciated and strongly encouraged, but your recent edit to the userpage of another user may be considered vandalism. Specifically, your edit to User_talk:Prof._Mc#Kashmir may be offensive or unwelcome. In general, it is considered polite to avoid substantially editing others' userpages without their permission. Instead, please bring the matter to their talk page and let them edit their user page themselves if they agree on a need to do so. Please refer to Wikipedia:User page for more information on User page etiquette.

I appreciate how important the issue of Jammu and Kashmir is to you. But please refrain from personall attacks on my Talk page. Thank you. Prof. Mc (talk) 12:49, 11 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Mar4d (talk) 05:07, 20 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by adding commentary and your personal analysis into articles, as you did at Insurgency in Jammu and Kashmir and Kashmir conflict, you may be blocked from editing.
