This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be blatant advertising which only promotes or publicises a company, product, group or service, and which is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages; user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.

This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. I don't want to contest deletion, so I would like to create my biography on Wikipedia.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Giljonnys dias da silva requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

August 2016[edit]

Information icon Please do not write or add to an article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. Theroadislong (talk) 19:39, 26 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Stop writing about yourself at Lago da Pedra. That article is about a town, not you. You've added no references. Facebook is not a reference. Bgwhite (talk) 00:10, 16 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Contested deletion[edit]

This page should not be speedily deleted because... (your reason here) --Giljonnys (talk) 00:15, 16 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I'm a real author and I have all my documents. I'm responsible for what I write.

I would like to say that I'm a self-taught author and people not always give truthful information about me to Wikipedia. I'm responsible for all my books and articles. Send someone to investigate and he will see that I'm a real person.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Giljonnys (talkcontribs) 09:20, 16 September 2016 (UTC+9) (UTC).

Hi Giljonnys. Nobody is saying that you are not a real person or that you are not responsible for all your books and articles. However, Wikipedia highly discourages people from trying to write articles about themselves (as explained in WP:AUTOBIO) because it can be very hard for someone to do so in a neutral manner. The subjects of biographies are also required to meet Wikipedia's guideline for notability for an article to be written. This basically means that the subject has received significant coverage in multiple, independent reliable sources. Moreover, Wikipedia policy requires all information written about living persons added to any article be properly supported by a reliable source, so even adding information about yourself to other articles needs to be properly cited by a reliable source. Wikipedia is a website that anyone can edit, but it has policies and guidelines that all editors are expected to comply with. Wikipedia is not intended to be a social media account like Facebook, etc. or a personal website, and article's are not intended to include every bit of information about something. If you are able to establish that you satisfy WP:AUTHOR or WP:BASIC, then gather your independent reliable sources together and request that an article be written about you at WP:RA. If an article about you can be written in accordance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, someone there is likely to do so. -- Marchjuly (talk) 01:46, 16 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

September 2016[edit]

Please stop making disruptive edits, as you did at Lago da Pedra.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. Please stop writing about yourself in an article about a town. You also added no references. Final warning Bgwhite (talk) 01:00, 16 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Lago da Pedra shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. -- Marchjuly (talk) 01:23, 16 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Your editing - a warning[edit]

You appear to be here to edit about yourself. Please understand that that is not what Wikipedia is for. Please read WP:AUTOBIO, which explains that this is not the place for autobiographies. You are likely to be blocked from editing under WP:NOTHERE if you continue to edit about yourself. You can post about yourself at places like Facebook. Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia not social media.
