Harkins' contributions to the field of futures studies, include raising anthropologists' awareness of the field and expanding the scope of future studies to include the concept of "culture", starting with the American Anthropological Association's "Futuristics Sessions" which he co-chaired with Magorah Maruyama in the early 1970s. Harkins co-authored StoryTech with George Kubik.

CS1 error on DIKW pyramid

[edit]

Hello, I'm Qwerfjkl (bot). I have automatically detected that this edit performed by you, on the page DIKW pyramid, may have introduced referencing errors. They are as follows:

  • A "bare URL and missing title" error. References show this error when they do not have a title. Please edit the article to add the appropriate title parameter to the reference. (Fix | Ask for help)

Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, Qwerfjkl (bot) (talk) 14:24, 29 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Okay. Some of your edits are good and a lot are just gibberish. You really need to slow down on your editing because you've wasted a lot of my volunteer time today, by removing a lot of your mistakes in English and linking and just unencyclopedic content in general. But when you posted above "Collaborator User:GeoVenturing (2018) succeeded by User:EarthSea-Keeper (2023)" did you mean that you have two Wikipedia accounts? — Smuckola(talk) 03:15, 17 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Yes: GeoVenturing eMail access lost due to defective end-user error/omission with passwords
Then, I presumed incorrectly Wikipedia access was also lost migrating between platforms! GeoVenturing (talk) 13:44, 2 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You forgot to answer this. And you added another useless link WP:LINKFARM and you're barely writing in English. Why are you set on adding short descriptions that just don't make any sense at all, or not much sense? I've seen at least one other person say that some of your actions and words are unintelligible and unexplainable. — Smuckola(talk) 03:53, 22 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Appreciate your coaching, mentoring & tutoring feedback.
Also respect integrity of your valuable volunteer time & talent!

Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. [1] Why do you keep inserting gibberish, especially on short descriptions? Half the things you write don't make much or any sense. And you are absolutely required to respond to whether you have multiple Wikipedia accounts.Smuckola(talk) 21:51, 28 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Done with apologies for slow response.
