Sylvain Charlebois[edit]

— Janvez - July 4 at 5:50 (CEST) : This is not a personal opinion. Here's the link, a notable, credible reference which suggest the university leaked the story which led to his departure, from the CBC: https://ici.radio-canada.ca/premiere/emissions/le-reveil-ile-du-prince-edouard/segments/chronique/84365/sylvain-charlebois-doyen-alimentation-professeur-universite-dalhousie-haliax-nouvelle-ecosse. Listen to the interview carefully. Other links you are using are also from the CBC. It should be noted that the university's breach in not following policy led to Charlebois' departure, not the accusations. The sentence is currently misleading, and the reference you deleted makes a reference to that fact. The investigation was terminated before it ended, and Charlebois remains at the university, leading a research center. Please rectify. Thank you.

Dear Janvez Seriously, an interview of S.C? as a source? Please come back in the S.C discussion page.--GenesisPRO (talk) 09:43, 4 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

— 019282abc - July 4 at 5:53 (CEST) : GenesisPRO has no idea how to write in English. This sentence reads wrong. This person also added this irrelevant information to the French site. Ridiculous.

019282abc Are you bullying me? this is close to harassment--GenesisPRO (talk) 09:43, 4 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

- GenesisPRO: I believe you are the one being a bully. You are un-editing material without reading citations you added yourself. Harassing people through Wikipedia is not appropriate. Even though you can't write, can you at least read English? A spokesperson from the University (Brian Leadbetter) was quoted in saying that no actions will be taken against Charlebois. The University made a mistake and decided to keep the agreement confidential. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 019282abc (talkcontribs) 18:35, 5 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

019282abc Is threatening is your thing? Not because you're better that you have to laught at anybody. Please stick to the fact ″Brian Leadbetter, a spokesperson for the university, said the investigation into Charlebois has now concluded and no FURTHER action will be taken″ REFERENCE NO 49. Truth is there. Charlebois step down in the meantime.

Did you see that? The anonymous IP who made vandalism on the article → IP 24.50.111.156 ← is located in Saint-Sauveur, Qc--GenesisPRO (talk) 20:14, 5 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

JanVez: Changes to section "Other" was resolved 3 years ago and agreed to. You attempted to do the same thing in July 2019, and nothing new is to report. Charlebois is still an employee of Dalhousie and was innocent. Title implies guilt, unnecessarily. The section already explains what happened. You're attempting to do the same thing to Charlebois' French page. I recommend you stop doing what you are doing, or you will be reported. We know very well who you are as your intent is to simply discredit Charlebois, not inform the Wiki community. Wiki is not met to destroy or attack one's reputation. --Janvez (talk) 08:04, 2 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

BLP discretionary sanctions alert[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in articles about living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Re Sylvain Charlebois: Please do not add inflammatory headings to a BLP article such as in diff. Articles are not like a blog page where accusations can be ladled out, possibly excused by "allegation". That is not permitted at Wikipedia. Please ask at WP:Teahouse if other opinions are wanted. Johnuniq (talk) 09:01, 2 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Warning: Do not use any page at Wikipedia to speculate about the identity of other editors. Repeating that would violate WP:OUTING and lead to an indefinite block. See diff. Johnuniq (talk) 23:02, 2 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
