You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

A tag has been placed on Peter Pepper requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject of the article is important or significant: that is, why an article about it should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you can assert the notability of the subject, . Clicking that button will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the article's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. You may freely add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

Peter Pepper articles[edit]

Please do not continue to create articles under different names unless you can provide citations to reliable sources establishing his notability. If you wish to work on the article without having it deleted, please create the article in your user space at User:GeisterXfahrer/Peter Pepper. Once you are done with the article, you may copy it to the article space. However, like I said, you need to provide sources to establish his notability as the article has been previously deleted through as deletion discussion. Please address the issues brought up in the article when you are working on a new version. Thank you. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 23:33, 17 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Re your message: The article has been deleted because it was determined through a deletion discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Peter Pepper (2nd nomination) that he is not currently notable enough for inclusion on Wikipedia and your new article did not address the issues brought up in the deletion discussion. For the article to remain on Wikipedia, you must show that he meets the notability guidelines for musicians by, for example, having released multiple albums for a major label or important indie label. You may also show that he meets the general notability guideline by showing that he has been the subject of multiple, non-trivial, published works appearing in sources that are reliable and are independent from him. For example, he may qualify if there exists multiple reviews of his albums or news articles about him. You have not provided any of those requirements in your recreated article. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 02:02, 18 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Re your message: I saw that review, but you need to provide citations to multiple reviews. As for the major record label issue, the issue is notability, not like-ability. What qualifies for notability has been discussed for many years and having released on a major label or important indie label is what the current consensus is on one of the criteria. See the guideline for additional criteria. You can try to expand the criteria by discussing the issue on the talk page to include other things, but just being like-able is probably not going to get a consensus for inclusion. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 05:27, 18 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article Peter Pepper (Retard-O-Bot) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Does not meet notability guidelines for musicians.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Edit warring at Miranda Cosgrove[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Miranda Cosgrove. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

In particular, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you continue edit warring, you may be blocked from editing.CWenger (^@) 04:33, 21 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Peter Pepper is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Peter Pepper (3rd nomination) until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on good quality evidence, and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. Cerejota (talk) 07:45, 21 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Miranda Cosgrove[edit]

I'm not sure why you're telling me that you didn't vandalize Miranda Cosgrove's article: I've never said you have been, and if you're referring to my protection of the article, I did that back in March of 2009, long before any edits you made to the page. Miranda Cosgrove[edit]

Your edit summaries and a posting on another editor's talk page seem to indicate that you are feeling frustrated in your editing of Miranda Cosgrove. Please discuss the issue on the article's talk page. There has already been some discussion there and the consensus there seems to indicate that the bus crash and minor injury do not warrant as much detail as you wish to include.
