Question about Gopiparadhana[edit]

You have recently created the article Gopiparadhana. It seems most of its content is copied from another article: A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. I'm not familiar with the topic: Are these two different persons?

  • If so, Could you please correct the article (name in the first sentence, birth date etc.)?
  • If not, (= it is the same person) or the creation of Gopiparadhana was only a test, then it should be deleted. You can use this template Template:Db-g7 so admins can delete it. To use this template put this text in the first line of the article: {{Db-g7}}

If you have questions answer here. I will watch this page for the next few days. --Bisco (talk) 21:32, 23 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, thanks for clearing this up and correcting the information. I guess you found out how to upload pictures :)
Btw please always sign on talk pages (I signed the two comments above for you, if this is not done, then usually a bot will come by and do it).
I also took the freedom to format your reply a little, so you can see how answering is mostly done on talk pages (with : and :: and ::: and so on).
Unfortunately the article is now up for deletion: try to improve it like advised on the talk page and respond/discuss there. Please remember that this is an encyclopedia, so only notable/important people should get an article. All critical information (especially information about people is usually critical) should have good sources - the information should have been published elsewhere (book, internet etc.) and this source should be reliable (no fan pages, no information that comes from the articles subject itself, not your personal knowledge). That is probably why you have gotten the comment below about Vrindavan. Even if you live there it is not accepted that you contribute only from your own knowledge, you need a source why something should be in/out the article.
I hope you will in time become accustomed with all the rules here. Happy editing :) --Bisco (talk) 21:32, 30 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

December 2009[edit]

Please do not vandalize pages, as you did with this edit to Dog Gone (Family Guy). If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing. Gage (talk) 20:40, 29 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. If you continue to blank out or delete portions of page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did to Vrindavan, you will be blocked from editing. Jpatokal (talk) 01:05, 30 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Gopiparanadhana[edit]

An editor has nominated Gopiparanadhana, an article which you have created or worked on, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Gopiparadhana and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to address the nominator's concerns but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. - Eastmain (talk) 02:45, 13 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
