Speedy deletion of Family Violence Prevention Fund

A tag has been placed on Family Violence Prevention Fund, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Friendly but serious

I'm sorry that you're having trouble understanding the rules. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a directory of organizations. We don't use Wikipedia to promote our own organizations, and you can't, either. If your organization is truly notable, someone outside of it will create a neutral article about it. If the only people who care enough to write about the organization are its own employees, then it probably doesn't meet the notability criteria. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 22:11, 25 September 2008 (UTC)
