April 2010[edit]

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you.[[1]] MrOllie (talk) 11:34, 9 April 2010 (UTC) MrOllie, please explain why you think the links to SignPlanet.net and VanAsch School Signs are inappropriate. They both contain valuable additions for those wishing to learn more/more about new Zealand Sign Language. The VanAsch school region's sign are discussed in the article above, and SignPlanet.net allow you to do more with new zealand signs than any of those listed, including making worksheets, flash cards and customized resources. Have you visited either of these sites? Furthermore you have reinstated the History of Van Asch School link, which according to my connection is a dead link! Perhaps you should take a look at the external links on the American Sign Page which has many links to external sign dictionary type sites, including two which charge for some content, and 2 links to LifePrint.com Fred.pollard (talk) 11:52, 9 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
