Nice work on Abu Hafs al-Urduni, Forrest.

I'm trying to dig up the one as-Sahab video that he did. I'll let you know if I find it. LDH 03:27, 2 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Abu al-Walid

[edit]

Hey Ammar, thanks for correcting the mistakes in the Arabic script in the Abu al-Walid entry. I did however revert your other edit and I beleive I should inform you of this. You listed al-Walid under Saudi Arabian terrorists (you also forgot to add his last name so he was listed under 'A'), I don't know if you actually read the article but if you wonder why I reverted that part of your edit, read Involvement in terrorism. I hope you will agree. Greetings,

Forrest UNSIGNED -- ForrestSjap 06:32, 18 June 2007

Hello boss , i didnt try to consider him as a terrorist , i was just trying to re-categorize some trees of categories , somehow i saw the mistake of the arabic script , but i dont even know Abu Al-Walid , i thought he was one of the presioners in Cuba - guantanamo, Have a nice day man . poka :) Ammar (Talk - Don't Talk) 07:38, 18 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Ok thanks for understanding. I noticed you did the same with the entry about Khattab, I think he should be placed back in the original category as well for the same reasons. Maybe it isn't a bad idea to create a new subcat for Saudi Arabian militants? Let me know what you think about it. ForrestSjap 09:59, 18 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, yes i know Khattab , but somehow i didnt reconise him while categorization for the same reason. anyways i just created the category Saudi Arabian militants , its a very good idea. Ammar (Talk - Don't Talk) 00:37, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, no i am scottish but i have for a long time been very interested in the chechen people, their history and culture. I try to stay up to date with the day-today events within the Repbulic. I too do believe that the chechen's should be free to decide their own future. I would recommend a book that has just came out for you if your interested. It is called Chechnya: The Case For Independence by Tony Wood. All the Best

Normally I would have just replied on my talk page, but I felt that you might not notice it if I did that. I think that you're a new user. Anyway, you're right that he shouldn't be removing cited information from an article - that is vandalism. He needs one more warning for vandalism if he does it again and after that he needs to be reported in which case he will blocked. He has also violated WP:3RR many many times in your dispute. I went ahead and gave him a warning for that so if he reverts the article again within 24hrs then he should be reported for that violation and will likely also be blocked for that. Report cases of vandalism here and cases of 3RR violations here. I was surprised to see that he hadn't been warned for any of his behavior. Note that you can't report someone for vandalism without going through the proper system of warnings first. --Strothra 07:40, 2 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please also note that you need to abide by WP:3RR as well. --Strothra 13:01, 2 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:ChRI Coat of Arms.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:ChRI Coat of Arms.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. LaraLove 14:46, 31 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use Image:Muhannad.jpg

[edit]
Replaceable fair use
Replaceable fair use

Thanks for uploading Image:Muhannad.jpg. I noticed the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, fair use images which could be replaced by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if not used in an article), per our Fair Use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. —Remember the dot (talk) 04:32, 3 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:ChRI Coat of Arms.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:ChRI Coat of Arms.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 14:47, 4 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Laat me weten hoe het vordert allemaal.ForrestSjap (talk) 21:30, 11 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
