Welcome to the Veterinary medicine WikiProject, Flukeboy! Any (simple) problems, feel free to get in touch with me Dlh-stablelights, anything more complicated, see our Senior Wikipedian (only joking...) JoelMills. Thanks for your contributions so far!

I saw that you created this category and subdivided it also. I think this is a great idea, and I had suggested series of categories dedicated to veterinary subjects at WT:VET. For the sake of uniformity, I would like to rename Category:Veterinary Parasitology to Category:Veterinary parasitology and Category:Veterinary Protozoology to Category:Veterinary protozoology, if it is all right with you. Then we can go ahead and populate these categories. I think I have compiled a complete list of article on Wikipedia dedicated to vet parasitology at Wikipedia:WikiProject Veterinary medicine/External parasites and parasitic diseases, Wikipedia:WikiProject Veterinary medicine/Internal parasites (including protozoa) and parasitic diseases, and Wikipedia:WikiProject Veterinary medicine/Myiases, if you're interested. Let me know what you think. --Joelmills 23:26, 20 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for renaming of categories. It was my fault and I did not know how to repare it. Concerning these sections I think it is OK in this way. However, my primary thought was to divide parasites accoring to their biological or taxonomical status (protozoology, helminthology and entomology). Your propose is also good.--Flukeboy 09:20, 21 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think we should keep the divisions as you have them set up. I only want to change the capitalization, which I will do now. Thanks for getting these categories going. --Joelmills 01:30, 22 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have went ahead and placed all the veterinary parasitology articles in the appropriate categories. --Joelmills 16:20, 22 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sheep and goats diseases

[edit]

I think that what you added at Category:Sheep and goats diseases would be more appropriate in an article. However, I don't think Sheep and goat diseases would have enough material to exist as a separate article. My suggestion would be to create an article, Sheep and goat health, and at least have short sections for other important sections (nutrition, reproduction, preventative medicine), which can be marked with {{sectstub}}. The thought of writing those sections makes my eyes glaze over (as it probably does yours), but I'd be willing to give it a try. Let me know if and when you create the article, and I'll contribute enough to at least have the start of a good article. --Joelmills 15:02, 4 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The dark bodies in the fluke pictured for Fasciola Hepatic by Flukeboy

[edit]

I'm curious as to what those dark bodies are that are pictured in the top right page for Fasciola Hepatica? Does any one know what they are? How come you can see them in the first picture on this site but after the fluke has been stained, as in the second picture you can't see the dark bodies? I tried to send Flukeboy an email with no success. I'm not sure if posting this is appropriate...forgive me if it is not. Please email me with any answers as I am very interested in taking to you regarding some of the internal structures of this parasite.

Thanks... [email protected] —Preceding unsigned comment added by Campcurry (talkcontribs) 08:03, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

RNA interference

[edit]

Please add a rationale for why that article is so important--I'm not saying it isnt, but a rationale is necessary.DGG (talk) 10:00, 8 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I will try to add some description and importance as soo as possible.--Flukeboy (talk) 11:55, 8 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Cam topics in Veterinary Medicine

[edit]

Hi Fluke, I was wondering if you would give me your opinion of Veterinary chiropractic. I have spent some time over there trying to inject some skepticism. --—CynRN (Talk) 18:35, 27 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Reactivation of WikiProject Veterinary Medicine

One other user and I are currently interested in re-activating this project. Please stop by and express your interest here and make suggestions about how we can generate more interest in the project and its articles. --Kleopatra (talk) 01:13, 27 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi. When you recently edited Galba truncatula, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Baleares (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Catascopia occulta

[edit]

I undid your copy/paste move of Catascopia occulta as it would "fragment the edit history". I copied the content from Catascopia terebra to Catascopia occulta, put a redirect on Catascopia terebra and requested a move (db-move) Ref Wikipedia:Moving a page and Wikipedia:Requested moves You should not need to do anything and an admin should move it soon. If you have any questions, please leave me a note on my talk page. Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 07:05, 23 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for this. I did not know how to move the page.--Flukeboy (talk) 07:25, 23 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
