Bkissin (talk) 14:37, 8 December 2020 (UTC)FloridaArmy, I beat Curbon7 to the punch on this one. You're lucky that I'm from Freeport, lol. Bkissin (talk) 15:20, 8 December 2020 (UTC)
- It's an interesting family User:Bkissin. I think their ancestors go back to the Mayflower. Several other Soules making boats in Porter's Landing. I was curious about the boats they made. Sailing vessels. I saw one is actually identified as the "Rufus Soule" and is referred to as the last slave ship. Involved in some issue with Britain. Privateer ships? Rufus is identified as Democrat. I wonder what his politics were. There are some Soules in Massachusetts that fought in the Civil War. Four brothers. One died in the war. Not sure if they are related.. But more to be told I think about the family, their history, and businesses. FloridaArmy (talk) 15:45, 8 December 2020 (UTC)
- I also think an entry on Porter's Landing, or at least an expansion in the Freeport and historic district articles, would be useful. Boatbuilding was active prior to Rufus and I saw one boat the Dawn was pretty legendary. Interesting history. FloridaArmy (talk) 16:00, 8 December 2020 (UTC)

Cairo2k18 • (talk) • (contribs) 04:35, 14 December 2020 (UTC)Florida Crossroads moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, Florida Crossroads, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
