Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Template:Federal_Bureau_of_Investigation. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. Your recent edits could give Wikipedia contributors the impression that you may consider legal or other "off-wiki" action against them, or against Wikipedia itself. Please note that making such threats on Wikipedia is strictly prohibited under Wikipedia's policies on legal threats and civility. Users who make such threats may be blocked. If you have a dispute with the content of any page on Wikipedia, please follow the proper channels for dispute resolution. Please be sure to comment on content not contributors, and where possible make specific suggestions for changes supported by reliable independent sources and focusing especially on verifiable errors of fact. Thank you. Tommy! [message] 16:24, 3 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is the final warning that you will receive regarding your disruptive edits, such as this edit you made to Template:Federal Bureau of Investigation. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, you will be blocked from editing without further notice. Tommy! [message] 16:24, 3 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You have been indefinitely blocked from editing for making legal threats or taking legal action. You are not allowed to edit Wikipedia as long as the threats stand or the legal action is unresolved. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. Request reason:

1=I never made a legal threat, Tommy2010 is falsely accusing me and should be locked from editing for making a false report, please review my edit to his page, I clearly made no legal threat, however, the FBI has requested that you discontinue the unlawful use of their seal, I was fulfilling that request.

Decline reason:

You are, at best, passing on a legal threat. I live in the UK and have no interesr in the views expressed by the FBI.--Anthony.bradbury"talk" 16:48, 3 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Comment: This looks like a legal threat to me, but even if you hadn't written that your actions are sufficiently disruptive to result in a block. Favonian (talk) 16:38, 3 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Second comment... How more blunt can you be with " You are breaking the law, and continued use of the FBI seal will be met with legal action for Wikipedia."? Tommy! [message] 17:22, 3 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I guess that's a matter of opinion, isn't it? I made no legal threat, instead I suggested that the FBI has already made a legal threat. Secondly, my "disruptive actions", I removed a logo which was requested by the author of that content to be removed.

Decline reason:

A legal threat is a legal threat whoever makes it. And posting it is a blockable offence in wikipedia. If the FBI are so sensitive as to feel threatened at the posting of their logo they have ,I am certain, many avenues within which to seek redress. But not here.--Anthony.bradbury"talk" 16:52, 3 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Comment: Repeated threat on my page also. Hon3ybee (talk) 16:54, 3 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Comment - regardless of any "threats" - this is clearly a single purpose account created by an experienced editor solely for the purpose of disruption. Not only should this account be blocked, but we should run check user and shut down any unblocked accounts found associated with this account. Rklawton (talk) 17:57, 3 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Comment, Too bad I'm posting from a public place which has dozens of public addresses. Also, too bad it's not where I normally edit from. Hope you enjoy blocking people who have not done anything wrong, and also hope you enjoy having Wikipedia spend your donation money on legal fees in US court to defend themselves against the FBI. I, of course, would rather donation money go to expand the servers, or to somehow better Wikipedia, not to ensure they can still use this one, single logo.
