Category suppression needed at User:Fifatletico/sandbox

Hello. Just a friendly reminder about user page categorization.

I have noticed the user page above is appearing in regular content categories. See for example Category:Sieges involving Egypt under C.

Usually this is remedied by either placing a leading colon in front of each category declaration. For example:

[[:Category:French campaign in Egypt and Syria]]

or by bracketing all category declarations with Template:Draft categories like this:

{{Draft categories|
[[Category:Battles of the French Revolutionary Wars|Cairo]]
[[Category:French campaign in Egypt and Syria]]
[[Category:Sieges involving France|Cairo]]
[[Category:Sieges involving the United Kingdom|Cairo]]
[[Category:Conflicts in 1801]]
[[Category:Military history of Cairo|Siege of Cairo]]
[[Category:1801 in Egypt]]
[[Category:Sieges involving Egypt|Cairo]]
[[Category:19th-century military history of the United Kingdom]]
[[Category:May 1801 events]]
[[Category:June 1801 events]]
[[Category:19th century in Cairo]]
}}

Either method will disable the category function.

Hi again. I took care of it myself.[1] Note: Once the page is moved into mainspace, the categories will automatically become active; however, the suppression code should then be removed as it will no longer serve any function. --DB1729^talk 11:43, 14 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
