Regarding date of update
[edit]Hello!
Regarding the date of the last update (I am talking about this), of course I know that the "As of..." shows when the table was most recently updated, but it's best to not be added until the day is over if the time is not included. With only the date, and not the time, it's possible people to not make updates on numbers due to changes (matches) that take place later within the same day, due to considering the table was already updated. Also, I must point out I have noticed many such cases, i.e. where someone makes an update and updates the day, while there are still, e.g., 4 matches to be played on the same day with players from the list participating.
P.S. As per WP:BRD, you shouldn't revert something that was reverted, because it can lead to an edits' "war", but discuss it first through article's or user's talk page, and that's why I am raising this here, and of course not reverting the reversion.
Kind regards!

IFFHS' link on century club list
[edit]Hello Felixsv7!
I must add that I didn't include (with the meaning of "add") that link, it was already there, I just put the note there because the IFFHS' source still states Soh with 224 caps, and hasn't changed to 222 like RSSSF's source, so, obviously, either there should be a note or be removed, since otherwise it would be contradictory to the statement, but of course it's outdated, as obviously IFFHS copies RSSSF and hasn't been updated there yet, like FIFA also does, but of course you are one of the people who know this very well, who know that at the end them who curate that list are RSSSF, which is also the reason why, by the way, Soh's tally will be eventually recognized by FIFA (at least the 198 matches, excluding the ones made for Olympic Games qualifiers and Olympic Games), but the lot needs elaboration of the kind FIFA recognizes/claims this, RSSSF that, and so on. It's sad, but many people who come to edit a statistical list about football know, unfortunately, only FIFA and only FIFA exists to them, and I am sure many of them come across RSSSF and IFFHS for the very first from that list or similar ones, as there is no advertisement for football statistical organizations...
Cheers!
Nialarfatem (talk) 11:58, 22 July 2021 (UTC)
@Nialarfatem: Hey bud! Believe me, I wasn't trying to be annoying about your edit, just trying to clean up the table and as the IFFHS is currently outdated, I didn't see its necessity as a source, especially as RSSSF provides a detailed rundown of all of Soh Chin Ann's appearances to trawl through. I doubt FIFA will ever get round to ratifying the statistics so we could be arguing Soh's case for some time! Felixsv7 (talk) 12:11, 22 July 2021 (UTC)

[edit]THIS IS THE TRUTH. "ESCAPE" FROM NONSENSE. Γεώργιος Τερζής 2 (talk) 10:38, 18 August 2021 (UTC)
@Γεώργιος Τερζής 2: This does not appear to be a rational argument therefore I am unsure how to respond. If it is reference to the "greatest goalscorer" moniker that you've bestowed upon Josef Bican, at least source the quote. Otherwise it is just a superlative that is difficult to quantify therefore shouldn't be used in the article. Felixsv7 (talk) 10:56, 18 August 2021 (UTC)
Reference is included in the section : FIFA : THE MASTER OF MARKSMEN. And there was no nead to answer. Γεώργιος Τερζής 2 (talk) 11:12, 18 August 2021 (UTC)

Antigua and Barbuda national football team kits
[edit]Your recent editing history at Antigua and Barbuda national football team shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. GiantSnowman 08:14, 16 August 2022 (UTC)
- @GiantSnowman: As I've fallen foul of 3RR as your message reminds me, can you please apply my change to the Antigua and Barbuda page so that the kits are still accessible via Wiki:Commons rather than being deleted completely? Thanks Felixsv7 (talk) 08:57, 16 August 2022 (UTC)

My edit
[edit]Hello. Why did you revert my edit to this article? I mentioned the source for that S.h.t 2007 (talk) 15:10, 17 March 2023 (UTC)
@S.h.t 2007: Hey, thanks for reaching out. There were a few reasons that I reverted your edit; I had already made the edit to include all the players listed in the preliminary squad, along with their updated cap information via National Football Teams, I had also put the Dates of Birth in where I'd found the information, leaving the ones that I couldn't find blank (I actually opened a discussion here to confirm that this is best practice), and I sorted the players by their appearances number - as per Wikipedia:WikiProject Football/National teams.
Why did you change my initial edit, and where did you get the squad numbers that you'd listed? Felixsv7 (talk) 15:26, 17 March 2023 (UTC)
- I was editing this article and didn't know that you edited that. But some players are not in your edit. I get squad numbers from transfermarket S.h.t 2007 (talk) 17:15, 17 March 2023 (UTC)

South Korea team squad
[edit]See Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Football/Archive 160#Current Squad - National Teams, there is an agreement that training camps are not counted as the "current squad", but only the final match squad is listed when it's officially announced, or did I misread this? This Korean squad is not even the preliminary squad, it's a random training camp without any scheduled matches for players who have not had any matches recently. By Google translating, the official Korean source apparently says "The training will be conducted by the national team's physical coaches and will focus on checking the physical condition and fatigue of players who recently completed the season and maintaining their condition through weight training and conditioning." So should we list physical trainings under "current squad" now? Snowflake91 (talk) 15:16, 19 December 2023 (UTC)
- @Snowflake91: So reading through that debate again it is very unclear so it's not difficult to misread but the final messages say that both a recent squad announcement and a preliminary squad announcement should both be counted as squads and this was ratified by numerous other users. I'm not one to add prelim squads as it appears to be a bit of a pointless effort in my opinion but if another user has, and correctly moved the previous squad into Recent Call-ups, then I don't see any need to revert it! The only reason I'd say to keep it is that it was officially announced by the national team (via their website). Felixsv7 (talk) 15:29, 19 December 2023 (UTC)
