Reliable sources

[edit]

Please don't cite the IMDb or copy its content into Wikipedia. It is not a reliable source. This is especially important in a biography of a living person, which has higher standards of sourcing. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 02:30, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Sam Fender

[edit]

Hi Fayetwo3. I see you deleted some content 1 on Sam Fender's article, and you did the same today while logged out [1]. You must use the article's talk page to communicate or contact me if you dispute information. If you enter edit warring, it won't end well. You also don't explain what you do in the edit summary; you are not following Wikipedia's policies.

Concerning the disputed problem, BBC wrote: "Fender had been given his first guitar when he was eight, as a divorce present from his father". The New York Times also wrote "his parents divorced when he was 8." Rolling Stone UK wrote: "Fender’s parents split up when he was 13 and he went to live with his mum, an NHS nurse, in a council flat on Verne Road, just around the corner from his current house". These are three reliable sources. Do you think that "13 years old" is wrong? What's your opinion? --Oroborvs (talk) 16:42, 8 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2022 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2022 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:50, 29 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
