License tagging for File:Caleb Mutfwang.jpeg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Caleb Mutfwang.jpeg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.
To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 19:30, 14 April 2023 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Coach Henry E.V.K
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Coach Henry E.V.K requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Coach Henry E.V.K. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. 49ersBelongInSanFrancisco (talk) 05:09, 21 April 2023 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Josephine Piyo
[edit]Hello Ezra Cricket,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Josephine Piyo for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Deletion discussion about Josephine Piyo
[edit]Hello, Ezra Cricket, and welcome to Wikipedia. I edit here too, under the username Shushugah, and I thank you for your contributions.
I wanted to let you know, however, that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Josephine Piyo, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Josephine Piyo.
You might like to note that such discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. And, our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Shushugah}}
. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~
. Thanks!

Request reason:
I was blocked from editing for using multiple accounts without disclosing them. I plead to be unblocked because I was ignorant of the guidelines of Wikipedia and I promise not to do that again. The other accounts I have are User:KVE Studio and User:Nandom Senior. I'll prefer this one to be my major account.Ezra Cricket (talk) 22:57, 21 May 2023 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Even without knowing we specifically had a policy about it, it's not clear to me why you thought it was appropriate to have three accounts editing the same articles. Yamla (talk) 10:35, 24 May 2023 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
It looks to me like you set up multiple accounts to attempt to deceive us so as to allow yourself to create an article which does not belong here. --Yamla (talk) 10:36, 24 May 2023 (UTC)
Ezra Cricket (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
I created multiple accounts to promote an article about myself and have misused and abused the accounts by so doing. I now know better and will not repeat such again. I have reviewed Wikipedia guidelines and I promise to follow them if given a second chance. I agree I made an attempt to deceive and I'm deeply sorry about that. I have listed other accounts I opened in my previous unblock request. Ezra Cricket (talk) 15:59, 25 May 2023 (UTC)

@Girth Summit: What say ye. Noting check user block.-- Deepfriedokra (talk) 02:51, 26 May 2023 (UTC)
- Sorry for the slow response, Deepfriedokra, I've been taking a few days away. As far as I can tell from a quick check, this user has not been evading their block since it was imposed. The sockpuppetry has been admitted, and they have undertaken not to repeat that, which is good; I guess my question would be what they intend to do if unblocked. Most of their editing to date with the three accounts, aside from the disruptive self-promotion, has been the addition of superfluous links in contravention of MOS:SOB and MOS:OL. I wonder whether they intend to start editing constructively, or just to continue trying to promote themselves and/or their acquaintances. Girth Summit (blether) 12:14, 29 May 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks. A fair and germane question. @Ezra Cricket: Please describe what constructive edits you would make that would not involve a WP:conflict of interest. Best -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 12:34, 29 May 2023 (UTC)
- Orrrr noting Yamla's comment from May 24 above, it might be better to defer unblocking and see how appellant fairs with the WP:standard offer. -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 12:38, 29 May 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks for your responses user:Girth Summit and user:Deepfriedokra. If unblocked, I promise to start editing constructively. I'll involve in copyediting, create articles that are notable, and articles that meet the required guidelines of Wikipedia. However, I'll not promote myself or anybody and I will put in my best behaviour and not repeat my past mistakes.
- Thanks in anticipation. Ezra Cricket (talk) 15:19, 29 May 2023 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Helen Caleb Mutfwang
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Helen Caleb Mutfwang, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement of https://newtelegraphng.com/a-quick-look-at-the-newly-elected-governors/. (See section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
- It appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), individual animal, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. (See section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
DoubleGrazing (talk) 05:24, 3 August 2023 (UTC)
- Hello, User: DoubleGrazing, the article meets wp:basic because the office of the first lady is worthy of notice and she's performing some functions which shows her relevance. The article would have been improved rather than being deleted. Thanks Ezra Cricket (talk) Ezra Cricket (talk) 06:40, 3 August 2023 (UTC)
- That is beside the point. This article was a copyright violation, and had to be deleted. You are welcome to try again, but you have to write in your own words.
- That said, 'first lady' is not an inherently notable position, certainly not at sub-national level, therefore she would have to meet the WP:GNG standard of notability, which this article did not demonstrate.
- Until you are confident that you understand core principles such as notability and copyright, I suggest you use the WP:AFC process rather than publishing directly yourself. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 07:01, 3 August 2023 (UTC)

Yomi Awoniyi moved to draftspace
[edit]Thanks for your contributions to Yomi Awoniyi. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. CycloneYoris talk! 09:37, 9 November 2023 (UTC)
- Noted. But I think the office of the deputy governor is a recognized one. Been a former deputy governor makes him notable already, couple with the fact that secondary and reliable sources were provided.
- Cheers! Ezra Cricket (talk) 19:29, 9 November 2023 (UTC)

WP:DEFAULTSORT for biograpies
[edit]Hello, I hope you are doing well. I just noticed your autopatrolled request at WP:PERM and observed that you are not using DEFAULTSORT for biographies. I wanted to inform you that DEFAULTSORT is essential for biographies so you should start using it in your articles. I chose not to add this as a comment on your permission request because I didn't want to disappoint you. Thanks! – DreamRimmer (talk) 17:07, 13 November 2023 (UTC)
- Thank you for your kind approach. I'm overwhelmed with joy for drawing my attention to this. Ezra Cricket (talk) 18:30, 13 November 2023 (UTC)

Deletion discussion about Marie Wiseborn
[edit]Hello Ezra Cricket, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Marie Wiseborn, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Marie Wiseborn.
Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|SunDawn}}
