First of all, welcome to Wikipedia (as per above!). Regarding your question about improving the article, there are really two issues at hand. First of all, the quality of the article is not great - it kind of sounds like an advertisement for him; it's not very objective. It would help to skim through Wikipedia:Neutral point of view for some perspectives on how to write more neutrally. The main problem, however, is that, with all due respect to a very learned man, I don't think that he is notable enough to deserve a Wikipedia article. If you disagree, I can remove the prod message and we can go through the "Articles for deletion" process, which means that it will only be deleted if it's decided through consensus.
