Welcome![edit]

Hello, Estray, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Adam and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Incarcerated mothers[edit]

Hi, Estray. I've taken a look at your draft and I think what you've got might be good to add to the healthcare section of Incarceration of women in the United States or in a section on Relationships for incarcerated individuals (provided the info you're adding there is general and not specific to the US, like expansion of certain kinds of care for women in parts of the US). The section on restraints may be covered in Use of restraints on pregnant women, which could also be improved with the work you've done. Let me know if you need a hand with anything. New article[edit]

Hi, Estray and Jmasamj. It looks like you're making a User:Estray/sandbox new article. In that case, you'll want to add a short introductory or lede section in order to summarize the article. A lede is different from a traditional introduction. Instead of hooking the reader or working to a thesis, you're summarizing the content of the article below so someone who lands on your article from somewhere else can tell quickly what the subject is and if they need to read more.
