About Cannae

[edit]

If you do have sources for your statements it is fine, however you have to make clear what references you use: Wikipedia:WikiProject Military history#References. Livy has some nice books, but they neither contain an inconvenient truth, nor are they solely used by modern scientists. If you want to work with primary sources you have to use Livy and Polybius(the latter's accounts are often prefered, but neither errorfree or undisputed). Dear Wandalstouring

[edit]

I am very sorry, but your comment;

"Livy has some nice books, but they neither contain an inconvenient truth, nor are they solely used by modern scientists."

betrays unmistakably that for you English must be a second language. Your comment is not normal English vernacular. In any case, when I have time, I will put together a revised "Cannae, an alternate view." and re-post it with a full list of sources.

I just wonder about your grammar.... Wandalstouring 10:46, 27 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Wandalstouring

[edit]

I have all the quotes and information I need to start revising "Cannae, an alternate view." I should be able to post the revised section in about a week. Until then. Esf456 10:24, 11 March 2007 (UTC)esf456[reply]
