  • No reason not to familiarize yourself. :-P Seriously, just try googling their names with "-lyrics -mp3" at the end, you might find sources. Or just create a stub with their name, occupation and chart position and I'll help you work them into shape. Image copyright problem with File:Country Sings Disney.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Country Sings Disney.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

Note

I hope you approve of Lisa Brokop's picture. It was hard to find someone to agree to license their flickr image of her copyright free. Its an OK image in my view.

  • I also sourced Marie Fredriksson's image for her article: [1] (She sang Roxette's famous songs including 'It must have been love') Its unfortunate that many singers lack images on Wikipedia. I have heard Ms. Brokop's 'Break It' song on youtube and while it is OK, I am very much a soft rock/pop music fan, not a country music fan. I suppose we all have our own tastes. Regards, --Leoboudv (talk) 10:20, 5 January 2009 (UTC)
  • No, I haven't heard it Eric. I may check it out on youtube. I notice it was a respectable #19 on the Cdn country music charts. With kind Regards, --Leoboudv (talk) 06:02, 6 January 2009 (UTC)

Charts positions, singles

Do you know if you have the information for country artists' positions on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 singles chart. If you do, do you know if you can research to see if Connie Smith, Janie Fricke, Marty Stuart had any singles that charted in the Bubbling Hot 100? In addition, I have a familiar feeling that some older artists released singles that failed to chart off their own albums. Lynn Anderson stated in an interview recently, she had singles out from her 2006 album, Cowgirl. If this is true, can you add the missing singles you can find for Lynn Anderson from those albums, as well as the one's for Connie Smith too? Thank you :] Dottiewest1fan (talk) 02:36, 2 March 2009 (UTC)

To say the least, the disocgraphies of George Jones, Merle Haggard, and Willie Nelson are pretty pitiful. I want to format the albums and what not, but I can't do that until I get the Canadian chart peaks for them (CAN Top singles & albums chart peaks as well). I was wodnering if you could do me the favor of adding the Canadian peaks for these 3 artists on both their albums and singles charts. I would do it, but honestly I really don't have much time to edit here right now. I just want to fix up these articles, since these artists are country music legends and we have virtually ignored them and have only been spending our time on the newer artists' discographies and such. Can you please complete the U.S. and Canadian peaks for Billy Swan? There seem to be a few missing. Ten Pound Hammer, his otters and a clue-bat • (Many ottersOne batOne hammer) 18:35, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

Brad Paisley

In this weeks Canadian Update, Billboard says that Brad Paisley has "eight consecutive No. 1 songs, dating back to “She’s Everything” in January 2007." Thus, it seems that "The World" didn't reach #1. So what is the problem there? Langdon (talk) 00:45, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

CAN albums

The chart on Jam! Canoe site is a comprehensive chart, and the one on Canadian Update excludes catalog titles. Which one do we follow? Langdon (talk) 05:49, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

Album reviews

Could you please help me by reformatting the {{Infobox album}} so that the reviews are linked as I did on Good Time (album)? Thanks. Ten Pound Hammer, his otters and a clue-bat • (Many ottersOne batOne hammer) 17:18, 19 August 2009 (UTC)

When you get the chance, can you add the single for David Houston? He had one of the biggest hits in country music and he still has no singles chart. Dottiewest1fan (talk) 22:50, 19 August 2009 (UTC)

And I forgot one small thing. If you could look up and see if Connie Smith happened to release any singles from her 1998 self-titled album, I would really like to know because I'm working on her discography and what not and I just want to be sure because I know you did give me the singles from her 2003 album, but again I just want to be sure. Thank you! =) Dottiewest1fan (talk) 03:01, 20 August 2009 (UTC)
Excellent job, thank u! =) Dottiewest1fan (talk) 01:59, 21 August 2009 (UTC)

Can you add all of the singles released by Stephanie Winslow, I just made the article for her. Thanks. 23:27, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
