A tag has been placed on Orhan Seyfi Ari requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. A tag has been placed on Orhan Seyfi Ari, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

September 2010[edit]

Please stop. If you continue to add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Orhan Seyfi Ari, you may be blocked from editing. Seraphimblade Talk to me 06:09, 28 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I understand the first deletion ~I was still trying to figure out the technicalities of how to do it and had to leave it unfished, but as to the second deletion and the warning...

....I shall not be arguing with the deletion which is Wikipedia's prerogative ~but references were published sources of information supporting biographical information given and each link provided was a non-commercial one and gave additional and different information in respect of matters related to the person the artıcle was about which people who look for biographical information consider an enhancement because it enables them a better understanding and appreciation of the person and welcome.

It wasn't a question of sources, it was that the article was written as if it was trying to promote something, or in this case, someone. All articles must be written from a neutral point of view, no matter how amazing someone's actions may have been. --Terrillja talk 17:43, 28 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Well, no point in arguing, of course, as I said, to delete it was your prerogative... But, that which you refer to as promoting someone was in each case, indeed several times within even a single sentence, with a reference was clearly indicated as being said not by me as the submitter of the artıcle but by the listed sources -which I fail to see how is not relevant in a biography ~but, as I said, there is no point in arguing about it because I do accept the deletion which is your prerogative.

This article on Refia Ari had no content because its content was removed by me, the user who put it there -as was also removed by me, the user, the content of the article on Suzan Ari prior to its deletion.Eoauk (talk) 08:36, 30 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
