Victoria vandal

[edit]

I had already warned them for vandalizing the Victoria article with a {{tl:test}} 2 minutes before you placed your {{tl:test2}} on their talk page. I didn't see another incident of vandalization though. --Syrthiss 18:17, 7 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, okay. I reverted the article, though. Two warnings can't hurt ;-)
Oh I see. We both reverted at the same time, and mine was the one that stuck. --Syrthiss 18:21, 7 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion

[edit]

Please do not blank the content of an article when adding a tag for speedy deletion; see the first paragraph of Wikipedia:Speedy_deletions#Using_this_page. Christopher Parham (talk) 21:01, 7 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. Should've thought about that myself.

Greater than/less than symbols

[edit]

You've been, whether by accident or design, changing the greater and less than symbols from the literal code to ascii code. Please try to avoid this, as it really screws up comments and line breaks. — Phil Welch Katefan's ridiculous poll 01:26, 8 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

It seems that that's happening as a result of the rollback function in the godmode-light.js script. I'll stop using that and contact the author about the issue. Thanks for pointing it out.

One example is this edit. - Stoph 01:27, 8 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

You've been using a rollback script? Hmm....I'm not sure how legit it is for non-admins to use scripts to emulate admin powers. — Phil Welch Katefan's ridiculous poll 07:50, 8 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

It's the one by Sam Hovecar, advertised on the Wikipedia:Revert#Shortcuts page. But it seems I got an outdated version, User:Sam_Hovecar just informed me how to get a new version. Going to keep an eye on it nevertheless.

Could you upload the "lutefisk" picture on commons?

[edit]

Hi - I am translating the Lutefisk article to Norwegian, and would like to use the picture, so it would be good if you could upload it to Commons. Ulflarsen 01:03, 13 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Sure, here you go: [1]
Thanks, have added the pic to the article in Norwegian about lutefisk. Ulflarsen 12:23, 14 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

WP:CVU status

[edit]

The Wikipedia:Counter-Vandalism Unit project is under consideration to be moved to {{inactive}} and/or {{historical}} status. Another proposal is to delete or redirect the project. You have been identified as a project member and your input as to this matter would be welcomed at WT:CVU#Inactive.3F and at the deletion debate. Thank you! Are you Enno on commons, the original uploader of File:Letter to Russia with krokozyabry.jpg? If so, might you be able to dig up the name of the photographer so we could get that picture back? Mojibake just isn't the same without it. Thanks! - Cxw (talk) 00:58, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I cannot remember where I got the picture in the first place. But I agree, it's a big loss. Maybe we should send another letter to a Russian Wikipedian just so we can get a new one :-)

Wikimania 2010 could be coming to Stockholm!

[edit]

I'm leaving you a note as you may be interested in this opportunity.

People from all six Nordic Wiki-communities (sv, no, nn, fi, da and is) are coordinating a bid for Wikimania 2010 in Stockholm. I'm sending you a message to let you know that this is occurring, and over the next few months we're looking for community support to make sure this happens! See the bid page on meta and if you like such an idea, please sign the "supporters" list at the bottom. Tack (or takk), and have a wonderful day! Mike H. Fierce! 07:32, 6 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The article Sana Amanat has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one.
