Hi Ellan

I don't think the St. Jessica page was vandalism, just a probably very young editor. Please assume good faith. St. Jessica is another name for St. Joanna, who was indeed one of the people associated with the resurrection. A redirect would be a good idea, and I'll do that when I work out how. I'm new here. Good job on identifying this article as one for deletion. However, nominating articles on the grounds of personal attack (as you did) must conform to the G10 criteria. Although this article contained offensive material, it didn't specifically attack or disparage an individual - living or otherwise. To that end, I changed the reason for deletion to that of "unremarkable person" (A7 criteria). General information for speedy deletion can be found here. Please note my comments on this page. I intend to create a similar article shortly after completing this one and would appreciate your input on how to avoid this issue again. I do not work for any of these firms, in fact I work for another firm in the same sector. I think you will agree, if you look at the page, that it is not particularly biased, nor does it advertise, it is referenced and factual. Thanks for your help Urbanrenewal (talk) 04:29, 27 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have looked over the link you noted, and I still think I am well within the guidelines particuarly as it relates to significance of the company. If you have any experience in private equity or finance you would be well aware of Lexington as one of the most active buyers of private equity funds. Just by searching the web you will notice several articles and references to Lexington and several of its largest competitors (Coller Capital, Landmark Partners, AlpInvest Partners, Partners Group, etc.) I hope that is helpful and you will withdraw your objection on notability. If you still have objections about the writing of the article I am sure it can be revised without being deleted. Thanks again Urbanrenewal (talk) 04:37, 27 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Porn for the Blind

[edit]

I have nominated Porn for the Blind, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Porn for the Blind (2nd nomination). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.
