Your talk:twin paradox posting has been removed.[edit]

Wikipedia is not a soapbox. Wikipedia is not a research journal. Blatant claims that special relativity is wrong are just as appropriate here as blatantly saying the Dingle was wrong over at Herbert Dingle. It is current human knowledge that is being documented here, not people's personal opinions.

If you wish to argue to put language in the article that there are people who see the twin paradox as disproving relativity, that I is appropriate, and even though I am a staunch relativity supported I can support said language in that article (as there is enough sentiment in that regard even today that it is notable in the context of that article). My complaint is with the blatant no-arguments-allowed statement that relativity has been disproven.

The bottom line is that you are entitled to your POV, but not to shove it down everyone's throat. --EMS | Talk 15:31, 22 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You said,
"According to time dilation of special relativity, the time interval between ticks of a clock (seconds) is dilated by the factor beta."
ITYM gamma.
