The article Divisibility rules was an unnecessary and inferior duplicate of Divisibility rule. It is unhelpful to have duplicate articles on the same topic, so the duplicate was converted to a redirect. An editor repeatedly restored the unhelpful article, so it was protected to prevent disruption. Any further editing should be at Divisibility rule, not Divisibility rules. The convention is that Wikipedia articles have singular titles, except in specific circumstances where a plural is natural. Thus, for example, we have an article Dog, not Dogs, even though the article is, of course, not about just one dog.
