• Also, feel free to ask for any assistance - this can all take a while to get used to, especially if you're used to writing in marketing prose on a regular enough basis. I'm not always on, so the Teahouse should be your first stop for immediate help. I figured that it would be good to give some examples of what I meant by promotional type writing.

1. The terms "robust and humble" are typically seen as descriptive words that can be subjective to the reader. As such, this can be seen as an opinion and promotional, particularly since they're often used in favorable situations.
2. Try to avoid relying too heavily on quotes. While the intent is to show that it's the opinion of the person(s) or organization making the statement, over-reliance can actually backfire and have the opposite effect. When it comes to awards it's best to sometimes just state that the design won an award and maybe one or two snippets of what the jury stated.
3. Be careful of the term "select" when listing projects. This section should only have projects that have received quite a bit of independent, reliable sourcing. I don't personally have an issue with a section labeled with the word "select" but if there's promotional prose and not enough sourcing then this can pose a problem with some.

I would recommend also checking in with the Architecture WikiProject and perhaps the ones on home living and fashion, since those last two overlap somewhat with the world of interior design.
